Ed "Pi Double i" HendersonWorldWide Rams The Los Angeles Rams have signed free agent wide-receiver Nick Williams to the team. Williams, played collegiately at the University of Connecticut and undrafted from the 2013 NFL Draft, by Washington Redskins. He had short stints with the Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons, and Tennessee Titans.
Head Coach Sean McVay stated that Williams is familiar with the system and recently played under ex-Rams offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur. Williams time with the Titans came to an end last week after fallen not in favor with coaches after dropping a would-be game-winning touchdown in Week Three. Not sure of what Williams role will become, but expect his signing will be added depth to the roster. In a corresponding move the Rams released kicker Cairo Santos to make room for Williams to the active roster.
