DRAFT YR:
  2019     COMBINE INVITE: YES

Player Bio: After winning three state championships at Buford High School in Georgia, Nauta transferred to IMG Academy in Florida, where he polished his skills, becoming one of the nations most touted tight End prospects in College. In his first season with the Bulldogs, the physically gifted Tight End had 29 catches for 361 yards (12.4 avg.) and three touchdowns in 11 games, his stats and game lead him to receive All-American honors by several organizations and media outlets (ESPN, USA Today, Athlon, Football Writers Association, Campus Insiders) as well as an All-American freshman and a U.S. Army All-American. He saw a slump in his sophomore season, playing in only eight games, and garnering below average stats of nine catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns. By his Junior season, he returned to his freakish form, and caught a career-high 30 passes, for 430 yards (14.3 avg) and three scores.
