In his first season with the Bulldogs, the physically gifted Tight End had 29 catches for 361 yards (12.4 avg.) and three touchdowns in 11 games, his stats and game lead him to receive All-American honors by several organizations and media outlets (ESPN, USA Today, Athlon, Football Writers Association, Campus Insiders) as well as an All-American freshman and a U.S. Army All-American. He saw a slump in his sophomore season, playing in only eight games, and garnering below average stats of nine catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns.
