Jackson set his reputation in the State of Alabama as one of the states most premier defenders and spurn the University of Alabama. He signed his intent to attend University Miami over Minnesota, Cincinnati, and Nebraska. Even from the state of Alabama, neither Auburn or Alabama offered Jackson a scholarship. He would receive an offer from Clemson at the last moment but stayed with Miami. Jackson’s ability to finish a receiver’s route, track the ball in the air and ultimately create a turnover or incomplete were just a few of his admirable qualities. That type of ability showed during the years he was on the field wearing the "Turnover Chain." Accolades 2018 ALL-ACC HONORABLE MENTION 2017 ALL-ACC SECOND TEAM michael jackson |
