With the Bulls, Tyree redshirted his first season, but by his second, started nine out of 10 games, throwing for, 1,772 yards with a one-one TD-INT ratio (nine) and a 53% of completions, on the ground, where he is also a threat, Jackson ran for 399 yards and four touchdowns in 99 attempts, showing his dual-threat ability.
