GAME FILM
#39 MALIK HARRISON VS ClEMSON (2019)

#39 Malik Harrison 2019 HIGHLIGHTS

Strengths: He has an excellent ability to read and react to plays and very spontaneous with coming downhill to the ball. A reliable tackler who has good first step explosion, and closes well to the ball in space. Will plug gaps to shut down the run game. He uses his chest and shoulders well and wraps with his tackles. Possesses a high motor and rarely is outran to the edge. Posses great pop with powerful hands to disengage from blocks. Has ok pass coverage to drop back in zone coverages.

Weaknesses: When attacking the run, display poor angles and routes to the ball, which allows the ball carrier to turn upfield. Tends to toil when needing to change of direction lacking fluid hips in which it compromises his flexibility. Quick backs can expose his sideline-to-sideline speed. With play-action or RPO plays, he is susceptible because he too focused on the run. Limited on passing downs with man coverage.

Draft Grade: 6.36
