In this video, #23 Manessah Bailey from Morgan St, demonstrate his talent at the 2020 Tropical Bowl. He display his tremendous speed and acceleration to get open for the touchdown reception. He received the throw from Tom Flacco of Towson St. If the last seems familiar, yes he is the youngest brother for Former Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl winning quarterback, Joe Flacco |
Strengths: He has blazing speed and a lethal playmaker who will take the top off the defense. He is a versatile receiver that can play the slot or outside receiver position. He has tremdous speed with quickness that allows him to become even more dangerous with short and underneath routes. He is able to run all routes of the passing tree, the slant, outs, and comebacks. He has great acceleration of his stance with an unexpected change of direction at the peak of his route to get open. He can accelerate and decelerate between his routes to attack his defender to allow a catching window. It is intriguing to watch on how he uses his speed to track the ball in the air and run underneath it for the deep catch. He has strong hands where he will pluck the ball out the air and ability to seperate from the defender. He has good field awareness, can work himself free when protection has brokend down for the quarterback. Physically strong, he will run through arm tackles and break tackles adding to his yards after catch. A good leaper who will relentlessly challange most 50/50 balls in the air. A willing competitior to block downfield to create run lanes at the second level for the running back. Against bigger competition, had great productive games against FBS schools. Blocked two punts in college, and has signifcant special team experience.
Weaknesses: He can be more proactive with his hands to avoid contact from press coverage cornerbacks. Footage confirms that he has problems with the aggresive defensive backs. The defender shows that they are able to disrupt his route with physical coverage. He telegraphs differences of pass versus run by his upward sprint out his stance. It appears that he does not have immediate recognition of coverages resulting with the quarterback progessions to the next receiver.
Draft Grade: 6.00
Draft Projection: 7th round - UDFA
NFL Comparison: Golden Tate

We are rooting for you to come in and show em what you can do. I think the biggest problem we had was speed, I think the Eagles addressed that in a major way. I think they have the fastest recieving core in the NFL. When you get out there, I dont know if it will be in Lehigh PA this yr, but wherever, you are good luck! PS Jalen Mills a fan fav is susceptible to a double move ;). Not so much Darius Slay!
