Strengths: He is a sound lineman who keeps himself at an excellent pad level and has excellent strength. He has a solid upper frame and lower body that locks down with a good anchor. Rarely he will be found leaning too far forward nor lunging out at the defender. He provides an over-average explosion out of his stance to get up on the defender immediately. He has fluid and flexible hips that allow him to get out in space as a pulling guard. Played in the pass-pro offense, he has good feet for the offense and keep a sound base and redirects the defender. He is a good pass protector and has a vast body to help shield the pass around for protection.
Weaknesses: He struggles with speedy rushers on passing downs. He is not a mauler for his size and more expected from him with his size. He does not have that mean edge to finish off blocks expected. He does not possess massive pops after initial contact. Despite being a sound blocker, he does not stick out as a powerful blocker. Has weight issues and concerns will be able to keep it under wraps.
Draft Grade: 5.98
Draft Projection: 6th round
NFL Comparison: Quinton Spain
