Player Bio: Janarius Robinson attended Bay High School located in Panama City, FL. In his senior year, he created seven quarterback sacks and earned that led his team to the playoff for the first time in ten years. Robinson earned USA Today All-USA Florida First Team selection and received invites to the 2016 U.S. Army All-American Bowl and 'The Opening' at Nikes Headquarters in Beaverton, OR. He would graduate early from Bay High School to enroll at Florida St that spring semester.

#11 janarius robinson career highlights

Strengths: He is explosive off the snap and has the ideal frame for an NFL EDGE rusher. He is very athletic with a high motor and versatility that disrupts offenses at standup or in a three-point stance. He has a solid upper body that allows him to remain disengaged off blocker with his length and very active hands. He plays with great low-leverage to help fight off double-team blocks while holding his edge. He has an arsenal of moves to penetrate the inside gaps and a long and wide spin move to disappear from the traffic. He has average speed and does give up when chasing down from the backside. When finding his weakest prey, he will go after the kill with a bullrush.

Weaknesses: As an explosive rusher, he does not have a natural bend to change direction comfortably. He will get too high off the snap expecting his upper body strength to win out and lose his leverage. He will allow himself to get washed outside the play. He does not possess elite flexibility and will probably need to move a muscle to 3-4 settings. His pad level is inconsistent and will get knocked back by the more extensive and physical blockers.
