Player Bio: Brian Robinson Jr attended Hillcrest High School, located in Tuscaloosa, AL. In his senior year, he rushed for 990 yards on 161 attempts with 18 rushing touchdowns while adding 24 receptions for 302 yards and two touchdowns. He garnered the Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) Class 6A All-State Team Second Team. He participated and played in the 2016 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game.

Strengths

• He is the pro-type running back for a team as a three-down back who can be an opening day starter.
• He is a versatile back with the power and swiftness to make extra yards after contact. 
• He is a powerful back that runs downhill pounding and will run through arm tackles.
• He will run low and stay under the pad level to absorb contact and move the pile.
• He is a patient runner with excellent vision who can hit the open gap quickly.
• He has a second gear to get to the second wave of defenders to create positive yardage.
• He has excellent balance even after contact to produce positive yardage.
• He can be a productive short-yardage or goal-line back as he continues to keep his legs driving and feet pumping.
• He is an exceptional pass protector in the passing game.
• He is a plus out of the backfield as a receiver with excellent soft hands.

• Having limited playing time at Alabama until last season, experience level will be a challenge.
