Player Bio: Erik Ezukanma attended Timber Creek High School in Fort Worth, TX.
He recorded 2,471 receiving yards and 32 touchdowns during his three-year career at Timber Creek and rushed for 383 yards and four touchdowns. He added 750 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in his senior year. Ezukanma earned the MaxPreps Junior All-America Team following his junior campaign, nominated for the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Game.

Strengths

• He is a big-bodied receiver that is physical, explosive, and with a wide catch radius.
• He does not allow the defender to put their hand in the chest in press coverage.
• He initiates gap contact to get separation to give himself the roof on the tracking ball with his wide wingspan.
• He has excellent hands that pluck the ball out of the air.
• He is very cerebral, knows how to use his frame, and uses his physicality to box out defenders.
• He excels by playing outside the numbers and will use his big body like a basketball player in the post.
• His skillset for the jump ball is impressive, as he will win most 50/50 battles.
• He knows how to get yards after the catch and does not shy away from contact.

• He is not a twitch route runner and will need to refine his route running.
