Player Bio: Jalen Wydermyer attended Dickinson High School in Dickinson, TX. He recorded 42 catches for 875 yards and ten touchdowns during his senior year at Dickinson High. At Dickinson, he finished his career with 87 receptions for 1,623 yards and 20 touchdowns. He earned the honor of being named the Houston area UIL Offensive Player of the Year finalist by the Houston Touchdown Club.

Strengths

• The prototype of size and skill set of an NFL tightend
• He is a dangerous and dynamic athletic weapon at tightend who plays with tremendous skills as a receiver.
• Athleticism and speed create a mismatch for most linebackers and safeties in coverage.
• Wide-bodied allows him to shade the defender in coverage to give the quarterback a wide window.
• Route-running is a plus as he runs persistent routes, creates space, and cuts on the point that is equivalent to the next level.
• Will win most contested 50-50 balls thrown down the field.
• He was impressive with his YAC, to give offense more field for play calling.
