Player Bio: Levi Lewis grew up in Baton Rouge, La where prepped at Scotlandville Magnet. While attending Scotlandville Academy, he was named All-Metro 5A/4A Offensive MVP of The Advocate. He was also named as a 5A All-State selection first-team in his senior year, where he passed for 2,450 yards and 17 touchdowns and rushed for 1,577 yards and 23 touchdowns. He helped guide Scotlandville to its first state championship and first-ever LHSAA school. Lewis also helped guide Scotlandville to a pair of a Class 5A state championship in basketball. Member of SMHS' state championship 4x200-meter and 4x400-meter relay teams.

Strengths

• Tremendously athletic and with good speed
• He has a significant presence and patience in the pocket.
• Demonstrates adequate arm talent with a quick release
• has great vision and ability to read coverages, to throw the ball downfield.
• Has a quick release with a high release point
• Very accurate passer who can throw an awesome deep ball even with off-proggresion situations.
• A dual-threat who is elusive, can make defenders miss in the open field, and can buy time with his legs extending plays to throw the ball
• Went 1-2 vs Big 5 conference teams with an overall 34-5 record as a starter

Weaknesses

• Does not have NFL photo-type body for a quarterback, he is under-sized
• Has accuracy issues when throwing off-progression creating inconsistency
• Patience in the pocket causes him to stare down receivers while waiting to get open
• Forced a lot of throws in small windows which will get intercepted at the next level
•  He gets to inconsistent and makes poor decision making
