Player Bio: Trey Smith, a native of  Humbolt, TN, was a five-star recruit out of the  University School of Jackson, high school where he was a three-time All-State offensive lineman. As a high school recruit, Smith was considered a top 5 overall recruit in the country.  He was a two-time Tennessee Mr. Football and District Offensive lineman of the Year.  The 6-foot-6, 330 pounds guard had numerous scholarship options but stayed in his home state and attended the University of Tennessee.  As a high school recruit, Smith was considered a top-five overall recruit. Smith can be overly aggressive at times which can take him out of position, and although he has the ideal size and power to play in the NFL, he will need to work on his agility to increase his body control. This along with improved technique, which is required of most lineman prospects, will increase Smith’s ability to play at a high level in the NFL. Smith is a bit of a mauler that makes him well suited for power running teams and improves his mobility. Smith also has some health concerns, suffering from blood clots in 2018 and needing an aspirin regimen to prepare him for an NFL career.

Conclusion  Trey Smith's has great physical tools; size and strength as his top attributes, however his medical issues may end up being a huge detriment to his draft stock.
