strengths

weaknesses

  • He is a physical running back with unique footwork, vision, and powerful movement.
  • He will lower his shoulder to run over the tackler and move the pile when running through the hole.
  • He uses a wicked stiff arm to fend off would-be tacklers and can run through arm tackles.
  • He uses his footwork to make the quick cut in the open field, which surprises the secondary in the open field.
  • He will show some initial burst to get outside or get around potential would-be tacklers due to his significant weight loss.
  • He is a short-yardage specialist who can be a plus in red-zone situations.
He can show up as a pass protector when required.
  • He runs uprightly, exposing his torso and legs as he usually is cut down below the waist.
  • He is not a quick twitch player, shows high hip tightness, and needs to be more agile, as he does not move well from sideline to sideline.
  • He is not blessed with the speed required to stretch the play outside the tackles.
  • He offers nothing as a receiver out of the backfield and is very limited as a receiver, even dating back to his prep years.
  • He needs to improve as a pass protector; he needs to recognize stunts, and his awareness and taking angles to the defender could be better.

Draft Projection: 7th Round
