STRENGTHS

WEAKNESS

  • He is a fast, shifty running back with excellent vision, outstanding patience, and effective running between the tackles.
  • He is tough and can handle a heavy workload, amassing over 300 carries this past season.
  • Unbelievable to watch the patience that he has remaining poised to let his blocking develop.
  • With the slightest crack of daylight, his incredible acceleration burst through the crease for dangerous positive yardage.
  • He can put his foot on the ground and make sudden cuts on the dime to cut back against the grain.
  • He will run with conviction, make the initial tackler miss through the hole, and get up to the second level with homerun speed.
  • He is a good receiver with soft reliable hands that do most of his damage as a check-down back
  • He has a more petite frame that typically will not hold up as a workhorse load at the next level.
  • He will not get the touches at the goal line or short yardage situations, more prone to become a running back by committee.
  • He will need help with lateral agility; if the hole is not open and he tries to make something happen, terminate the plan.
  • He is not a powerful running back and needs the strength to move the pile.
  • Ball security was an issue, as Brown coughed the ball up five times last season.
Draft Projection: 4th - 5th Round

NFL Comparison: Jerrick McKinnon (Kansas City Chiefs)
