strength

weakness

  • He is incredibly athletic, with an unbelievable work ethic paving his way to the 2023 NFL Draft.
  • Recruited as a tightend, he bulked up some 80 pounds of core muscle while maintaining 85% of his speed of a tight end, weighing in at 303 pounds.
  • He is a silky offensive lineman that is mobile and soft on his feet, with essential footwork that allows him to shuffle side-to-side and laterally.
  • He can efficiently mirror speedy EDGE rush due to the quickness of his lower body and seldom beat outside.
  • He uses his practical hands to jolt the defender in run blocking or pass protection.
  • He maintains excellent balance with his agile feet to mirror any defender in pass protection.
  • His agile feet and natural balance make him a formidable opponent in pass protection, able to mirror defenders easily.
  • He climb to the second and third level to block linebackers and safeties with ease.
  • His skill set as an offensive lineman proposes strengths and weaknesses that need addressing at the next level.
  • He must bend at the waist instead of always using his outstanding power and strength, which leads to him dropping his head at the point of contact.
  • His arms are arms than most players at his height, which can be problematic with lengthy EDGE rushers with long wingspans.
  • He will be viewed as a tweener of an oversized tight end or a more undersized left tackle giving the concept of converting him to a guard.
  • More extensive and better robust bull rushers will get under his pad level and push him back in the pocket, needing him to find a better anchor.
  • The film shows that he tends to play above the pad level, compromising his pass protector balance.
  • He will get his hands outside the pass rushers shoulder pads, will get flagged at the next level.
  • Need to keep his hand placement in the chest-plate of the defender.
Draft Projection: 3rd - 4th Round
