Player Bio: ​Jahmyr Gibbs attended Dalton High School located in Dalton, GA. As a senior, Gibbs rushed for 2,554 yards and 40 touchdowns and 4,882 yards and 70 touchdowns during his prep career. He was Named Georgia’s 6-A 2020 Offensive Player of the Year and, first-team all-state honoree, first-team All-American by Sports Illustrated, Georgia’s 2019 6-A Offensive Player of the Year, first-team all-state honoree and also named 2019 Region 6-AAAAAA Player of the Year. Gibbs participated in the prestigious 2020 All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

• He is an explosive and talented running back with high-end movement skills in the open field.
  
• He has excellent speed, great instincts, and good hands out of the backfield.
  
• He has outstanding acceleration and supreme speed that threatens the defense as a home run runner every down.   
  
• He can set up the would-be tackler put his foot in the ground, and make defenders miss as standard practice off of single cutback moves.
  
• He can see a small crack at the defensive line and thwart right through it for a significant gain.
  
• He can generate moves without losing his speed to beat the defender to the goal line.
  
• He is a dangerous weapon out of the backfield as a top-level receiver.
  
• He can line up outside as a receiver and run genuine receiver routes to mismatch against the defense.
  
  

• He could be a better pass protector, as he must bulk up and possess the strength to contain rushers.
  
• There will be significant concerns about his size; he can carry a heavy workload. 
  
• He needs to improve his ideal body strength, as he does not have excellent contact balance and will go down after initial contact.
