STRENGTHS

WEAKNESSES

  • He has a solid, compact frame with a stout, powerful lower body that runs well.
  • He plays with a constant high motor that rarely sees him not playing to the whistle.
  •  He is a mesmerizing athlete with adequate quickness and solid lateral quickness.
  • He has reasonable speed and quickness to be adequate to make plays.
  • He is an excellent tackler who wraps up, runs through the ball carrier, and generates exceptional power.
  • He demonstrates relatively explosiveness with his lower body strength to get around the field.
  • He contains the edge well, not allowing backs to turn the corner, setting up his purse in any direction.
  • He has powerful hands that give a jolt and a good punch against the blocker.
  • He has demonstrated a few pass-rush moves with a wicked spin move he uses to get home inside.
  • Will play in pain, torn MCL and continued the season playing in a brace.
  • He needs a better first step; he seems to slow off the snap.
  • He does not consistently use his upper body strength and lacks the barbaric strength required.
  • He is erratic with his hand placement, gets sucked into the blocker, and lacks the skill to disengage quickly.
  • While trying to get the boundary, he has the tendency to misjudge his angle and under pursue plays.
  • His bad angles led to him missing under 20% of his tackles and not chasing runners down from behind.
  • He constantly has problems with his feet struggling to keep his balance, sliding, and slipping, which is one issue he needs to correct.
  • He needs to possess a great bend and will struggle to bend the corner resorting to finessing the blocker to get home.
  • He is undersized for the EDGE and will be a two-year project if making a 53-man roster.
  • Torn his meniscus week three and cleared days before Arkansas St pro day.
  • Red flag on his report from a felony arrest that had him dismissed from the University of Tennessee program. Initially charged with felony gun and drug charges, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges for the weapon and marijuana.
Draft Projection: UDFA (Priority)

NFL Comparison: Obo Okoronkwo (Cleveland Browns)
