2022 highlights

strengths

weakness

  • He is a tough, physical, and mental quarterback that gave defenses fit during his collegiate career.
  • .He is an athletic dual quarterback who can defend with his arms and legs to move the chains.
  • He is explosive and tremendously lethal with designed rollouts, RPOs, and bootleg pass plays.
  • He has a strong arm that will 20-yard out routes or deep routes down the field.
  • His upper-body mechanics with throwing motion are quick and very consistent.
  • He worked on his accuracy with his timing and placement of the ball, placing it in the smallest window.
  • He knows how to save time with excellent pocket awareness and has a clock to know when to take off and run.
  • He will challenge the defense with tight passes in man coverages.
  • He lacks the arm length of an NFL quarterback, which will be an issue standing in the pocket to deliver on intermediate pass routes.
  • His throwing mechanics are off in his lower body when he gets pressured while standing in the pocket.
  • He has struggled with his consistency against zone coverages as he missed his targets with deep dig routes in the middle of the field.
  • He struggles on pre-down reads and gets flustered if defenses switch up mid-cadence.
Draft Projection: 6th - 7th Round

NFL Comparison: Tyler Heineke (Washington Commanders)
