strength

weakness

  • He is a formidable offensive lineman with a vast body, sturdy base, and excellent play strength.
  • He has versatility as he played at all three position throughout his collegiate career.
  • His enormous size allows him to dominate in gap schemes and inside zone runs.
  • He is flexible and will out-leverage the defenders at the point of attack with a double team and base blocking schemes.
  • He uses big hands to shock the defender with a jolt with his point of attack to move the defender out.
  • As a pass protector, he can sink his hips and drop anchor to absorb the pass rush of a powerful bull rusher.
  • He is mobile and lite on his feet with a good eye and hand coordination to eradicate the bull rusher.
  • He can get to mark with good efficient footwork out of his stance to deflect stunts, blitz, and twist.
  • He cannot redirect and change direction when on the move suddenly.
  • He needs to gain lateral speed and agility to recuperate if he can not win at the point of attack or pass protection.
  • He is susceptible to jab steps and counter by athletic and speedy pass rushers.
  • He gets caught playing about the pad level allowing the defender to control the point or impasse.
  • He has deficiencies; getting above the pad level, being unable to recover after getting beat, and being shed or thrown off balance will need to be corrected for the next level.
Draft Projection: 2nd - 3rd Round

NFL Comparison: Gabe Jackson (Seattle Jackson)
