Player Bio: ​Sydney Brown attended St. Stephen's Episcopal School in Bradenton, FL. While at St. Stephen's, during his senior season, he had 51 tackles (seven for losses), two interceptions, five passes break ups, one fumble recovery, and one forced fumble. In his junior year, Brown recorded 81 tackles (two for loss), one interception, and five pass breakups. He helped engineer St. Stephen's Episcopal to back-to-back Sunshine State Athletic Conference independent state championships. Brown also ran track for St. Stephen's as he was a Florida state finalist in 400m and 4x400m, 4x100m as a senior, and a Florida state finalist in the 4x100m as a junior.

STRENGthS

WEAKNESSES

• He is a consolidated body frame with a thickly lower body build, solid for an NFL defense.
• He can play all over the field, showing excellent lateral movement as he smoothly changes directions.
• He is very explosive and flies downhill to get to the ball.
• He uses his good instincts to navigate through traffic to avoid blocks, disengaging or shedding the blocks.
• When he arrives at the ball carrier, he has a closing burst and strikes to go along with it.
• He is strong enough to cover tight ends from in-line or re-route them. 
• He possesses the speed and quickness to cover receivers in the slot.
