Player Bio: Trenton Simpson attended Mallard Creek High School located in Charlotte, NC. At Mallard Creek High, he played both ways by doubling down as a running back and linebacker. In his senior year, Simpson led Mallard's Creek defense with 20 quarterback sacks and rushed the ball 44 times for 371 yards and six touchdowns, helping the team to a 10-1. He garnered the All-American by Sports Illustrated First-Team, won the Arnold R. Solomon Award for the North Carolina High School Football Player of the Year from NCPreps.com in 2019 and North Carolina Top Player by the Charlotte Observer. He also received an invite from Under Armour All-America Game.
