The Indianapolis Colts signed Evan Boehm off the Los Angeles Rams practice squad last week to their active roster. The Rams signed Boehm last September to fulfill their 10-man practice squad roster.

Boehm selected in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft from the University of Missouri, a school he gave a verbal commitment in junior high. He started all four years at Mizzou with a streak of 52 consecutive games. He began as a guard and center and has the versatility to play all positions of the line.

The Colts team decimated by injuries on both sides of the ball needed players and went the damage control route. The Rams added offfensive tackle Rick Leonard to the practice squad rookie from Florida State.
