The Los Angeles Rams traded their former starting corner-back E.J.Gaines, to the Buffalo Bills for their 2014 #4 overall pick and starting wide-receiver Sammy Watkins. The trade was announced minutes after the NFL released copy of the decision that led up to the six-game suspension of Elliot. Watkins reunites himself with his former counterpart in Buffalo, receiver Robert Woods. This dynamic duo will provide yet another weapon for Rams young quarterback, Jared Goff. Recent sources had reported that Rams head coach Sean McVay, was still not pleased with his wide-receiver corp stretching the field. Well, acquiring Watkins should excite the young head coach such like a baby with a bag of lollipops. The Rams offense definitely has taken yet another great turn for the offense to become more explosive. Watkins can simply stretch the field, make the acrobatic catches, and has the leaping ability of a 6'4" receiver. The Los Angeles Rams play host to the Dallas Cowboys tomorrow evening at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and it has yet to be determined whether Watkins will be in uniform see action. One thing is for certain, the media frenzy will be in Los Angeles just not to report the game, but to surround the Cowboys organization with the question of the suspension of Elliot and Rams acquiring of Watkins.
