worldwide ramsEd "Pi Double i" Henderson The Los Angeles Rams have signed linebacker Ketner Kupp, the younger brother of third-year receiver Cooper Kupp. Kupp went undrafted in the 2019 NFL from Eastern Washington where his older brother set NCAA records at receiver. However, he signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent but waived after a short stint with the team.
The three time All Big Sky Academic team winner, was a captain for Eastern Washington posting 115 tackles (5 1/2 for loss), one interception, and four deflected passes. Kupp also added one touchdown to his career on a 95 interception return. Kupp added to the 90-man roster will have a fierce battle to break the Rams line-backing core. The Rams are returning starters Dante Fowler Jr., Cory Littleton, and Samson Ebukam, signed veteran linebacker Clay Matthews Jr, and back-ups Justin Lawler, Trevon Young, Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, Bryce Hager, Travin Howard and projected starter Micah Kiser. The Rams also drafted rookie linebacker Dakota Allen out Texas Tech in the seventh round, and signed free agent Josh Carraway, and signed UDFA's Landis Durham (Texas A&M), Natrez Patrick (Georgia), and Troy Reeder (Delaware). Kupp dreams on making the team will rely on him standing out on special teams to break the 53-man roster; the Rams have some very young talent on the roster as he will need to impress the coaching staff.
