worldwide ramsEd "Pi Double i" Henderson The Los Angeles Rams have parted ways with defensive line coach Bill Johnson, and have hired the Los Angeles Charges assistant defensive line coach Eric Henderson. The Chargers players know the man as "Coach Henny," swaps one NFL Los Angeles team for the other.
"Coach Henny," served two seasons with the Chargers as their assistant defensive line coach. He started his coaching career at Oklahoma State and the University of Texas-San Antonio before getting his shot in the NFL with the Chargers. With the Chargers, Henderson had the opportunity to coach pass-rushing duo of Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram, and veteran Brandon Membrane in the interior. Now at the helm of the Rams, he inherits one of the leagues most fierce defensive line with prevailing two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald, Michael Brockers, John Franklin-Meyers, and Morgan Fox. The Rams moved on from veteran Ndamukong Suh and drafted nose tackle Greg Gaines from the University of Washington to plug the inside. However, do not rule out second-year Sebastian Joseph-Day, who been impressing the coaching staff during the OTA's and minicamp. The Rams will look to repeat and return to the Super Bowl to avenge their loss to the New England Patriots. They have the nucleus on the interior line to get them to Miami this upcoming season and win Los Angeles Rams their first World Championship.
