Ed "Pi Double i" Henderson Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview. The Los Angeles Rams will be without the services of starting linebacker Mark Barron today, from an injury he sustained against the Seahawks in the first series last week, with apparent knee complications. Barron was a full participant in Friday practice, but Coach Sean McVay stated that the cold weather last week in Seattle caused discomfort in Barron's knee. Expect Corey Littleton to get the start in the absence of Barron today. Littleton replaced Barron last week, after leaving the game, and he will have a huge assignment on stopping both Tennessee Titan's running backs Derrick Henry and DeMarco Murray. Bryce Hager is expected to compliment Littleton in certain packages.
Today's game against the Titans, Barron was a healthy scratch, as Nashville's weather will be in the low 40's, something that impacted Barron's inactive status. Reserve linebacker Matt Longacre was officially listed as inactive on Friday, as he is still having complications from a back injury. Carlos Thompson expected to play in his place while out, as the next man up. As expected, linebacker Kasim Edebali, who signed with the Rams earlier in the week, as well is inactive for today's game. Running backs Justin Davis and Lance Dunbar, defensive back Isaiah Johnson, and offensive lineman Cornelius Lucas are the other inactive players to round up the inactive's list. The Rams seek to secure and playoff spot today with a victory over the Titans and perhaps clinch the NFC West Title as well, something the teams haven't accomplished since the 2003 season (NFC West Champions) and 2004 (last playoff appearance).
