Ed "Pi Double i" HendersonWorldWide Rams The Los Angeles Rams have resigned Trevon Young their sixth-round selection of the 2018 NFL Draft to their practice squad. Young who was active against the San Francisco 49ers, recovered his first NFL fumble by quarterback C.J. Beathard.
The rookie linebacker from Louisville originally was of the finalist of the Rams 53-man roster. However, he was only active in two games this season after being inactive against the New Orleans Saints. Rams added Donte' Fowler last week and Young became a victim of the numbers game. The Rams activated rookie linebacker Ogbonnia Okoronkwo from the PUP list, and released Young to open a roster spot. Don't expect to see Young on the practice squad too long, after some game film potentially can be signed by another team from the Rams practice squad. In corresponding moves, the Rams terminated contracts of OT Rick Leonard and DE Ja'Von Rolland-Jones from the practice squad.
