WorldWide RamsEd “Pi Double i” Henderson Player Bio: Clelin Ferrell played at Benedictine College Prep a all-male military school in Virginia, where earned all-state football honors. Ferrell faced tribulations early in his life as he lost his father during his freshman year of high school. He would miss his entire senior football season after tearing his ACL forcing him to red-shirt.Despite not playing he still would be ranked amongst the countries top-ten defensive recruit coming out of high school. After red-shirting,the following season, Ferrell played well as he and Dexter Lawerence were named co-defensive freshman’s of the year award. Ferrell played in all 15 games registering 50 tackles (12 1/2tackles for loss,) and six sacks. His red-shirt sophomore year, he welcomed the ACC offenses with 63 tackles (18 tackles for losses), 9 1/2 sacks, and two forced fumbles.Clelin avenged his lost the following season at Clemson, he recorded 53 tackles (19.5 tackles for loss), 11 1/2 sacks, three forced fumbles, and four pass deflections. Nothing came even sweeter as Clemson faced Alabama again in the title game and embarrassed the Crimson’Tide 44-16 at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. Ferrell announced that he would forego his senior year and enter the 2019 NFL Draft.
