Strengths: An electrifying runner who has high awareness on the field. Ability to expose the weakness of the defense with great vision. A physical running back who will lower the boom on the defender before taking the hits. Elusive with breakaway speed, excellent footwork, and the ability to cut back at a moment's notice. Has the ability to turn the corner and get upfield and gain as many yards as possible—a runner who will be patient and explode through any gap available. Has the ability to split out as a receiver with excellent soft hands.Has good recognition for threaten rusher on passing down.
Weaknesses: Despite his elusiveness and speed, he will over-react, resulting in yard loss. Will have more of an impact if he can keep his feet. Although he is explosive, he is just an average runner between the tackles. He tends to change his gear to lower speed while trying to break. In pass protection, despite recognition of pass rusher, it needs to secure a better anchor to slow down rusher. Need to work on better route running as if its a pass to him on every down.
Draft Grade:6.38
Draft Projection: 2nd-3rd round
NFL Comparison: Duke Johnson
