penn st

STRENGTHS

  • He is a talented, strong, powerful, tight end with a thick frame.
  • He is a reliable and polished blocker in the run game, as he uses his frame and power to take advantage of the more undersized linebackers.
  • Impressive how he can post up like and power forward and how he boxes out the defender in the low post to secure the ball between him and the defender.
  • He has impressively soft and reliable hands.
  • The first is his impressive hands that make contested catches in heavy traffic anywhere on the playing field.
  • He has excellent after contact balance, will run over tackler, run through arm tackles, and fights for extra yardage.
  • He is a double-duty tool for the red zone with his blocker or leaking out for a pass

WEAKNESS

  • He has short arms for the size of his frame.
  • He had limited playing time and will need more playing time to evaluate his blocking skills.
  • He only had a few opportunities in the receiving game to demonstrate his value, not just as a safety valve.
  • He will need help to separate from the defender in passing routes.
  • He is a choppy as runner in his routes that leads to him stumbling alot.
Draft Projection: 3rd - 5th Round

NFL Comparison: Albert Okwuegbunam (Denver Broncos)
