Player Bio: ​Will Anderson attended Dutchtown High School in Hampton, GA. During his senior year, Anderson totaled 22 sacks and 15 tackles for loss in his final season, playing a significant role on a Dutchtown defense that allowed an average of just seven points per game.  Anderson garnered first-team all-state honors from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, PrepStar Top 150 Dream Team,  AJC’s “Super 11”, and Henry Herald’s 2018 All-County Defensive Player of the Year. He was invited to play in the All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.

STRENGTHS

WEAKNESSES

• He is a freakish, athletic athlete with speed, power, flexibility, and a nice NFL frame.
• He is explosive off his first step, with unreal quickness and flexibility that allows him to make incredible moves.
• He is a cerebral player who recognizes blocking schemes and how to take them on to make the play
  
• ​He has excellent gap integrity and will not leave it until the running back makes his move to the line. 
  
•  He has an excellent bend around the edge and can beat the blocker play after play at will.
• He has surprising power and can win consistently with his hands and arm moves in the path to the quarterback.
• ​He can uses a bull rusher with power to put put the blocker on slippery ice and make counter pass rush from the rush. 
  
• He has excellent twitch for his size as an EDGE rusher; but plays bigger than his actual size. 
• He is an angry maniac on the prowl and packs a great thump when he tackles.

• He must add more weight to preserve the pounding and physical play with the big brutal lineman. 
• He struggles to shed blocks when engaged with the massive lineman.
• He needs better vision and can get counter with a lineman that pulls underneath and wash him out of the play.
• He will whiff on the arm tackles while he is in space and tends to lunge by leaving his feet to make the tackle and misses a lot.
