According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Aaron Donald may still be holding out in search of a new contract, but keeping himself in football shape by working out over at the University of Pittsburgh, his Alma Mater.
Donald has missed all of the Rams offseason programs, and that may affect his chemistry and familiarity with the new system that DC Wade Phillips is instituting since his arrival this year. However, again, we are talking about a top-tier disruptive DT, maybe the best in the league.
The Rams front office has about a week and a half to sign AD to a new deal. If they want their best player in both sides of the ball to take the field in week one at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum versus a decimated Indianapolis Colts in what will officially be the beginning of the new regime, headed by HC Sean McVay.
