Worldwide ramsEd "Pi Double i" Henderson The Los Angeles Rams are all set to meet with Mississippi State's hard-hitting safety Jonathan Abrams today at the Rams headquarters. The Rams are seeking to secure the future of their back half of the secondary after signing veteran free-agent Eric Weddle for two years.
Football analyst has projected that Abrams could be the first safety to come off the boards late in the first round or early second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. The Rams do not attain a second round pick this season, in the trade to Kansas City Chiefs for cornerback Marcus Peters. Expectations are the Rams are tremendously high on Abrams and can draft him with their 31st overall selection, because they do not possess a second-round selection. Abram can come and learn behind Weddle and be a polished safety for years to come. (Read More)

He was recruited to Alabama State to play tight end but would redshirt his freshman year. Howard demonstrated tremendous athleticism as he would be transitioned into a tackle. He started six games at right tackle following his redshirt season and started seven games on the rights side his sophomore year. His junior year he switched to the blind side starting the entire season at left tackle. His senior year he switched back to the starting right tackle position as he would be named SWAC (South Western Athletic Conference) all First Team. Impressively, Howard surrendered only one quarterback sack in a game throughout his entire senior year. He played against a top SEC Auburn team where you have to impress how he held his on during the game. For his efforts and great play, to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl, and was one of the 57 offensive linemen that were invited to 2019 NFL Combine. #14 Davion Davis Highlights
Strengths: A very fast, and shifty player. Very elusive with the ability to break through a small window for extra yardage. Has great hands and rarely drop passes. Great leaper, with the ability, to win 50/50 balls. Ability to take the top of the defense. Fearless, will go run shallow or deep crossing routes. A great leaper who attacks the ball at its highest points. Has a skill that fits in any of the NFL offenses. Has the ability to make a defender miss in the open field. The explosive speed that will show on both return teams. A definite play-maker, with the ability to make a three-yard pass, for a long run after catch touchdown. Triple threat as a receiver and both return teams.
Weaknesses: Need to run better passing routes as he to tends hesitate throughout his route patterns. Small stature, and tries to break tackles in a phone booth. Despite being shifty, probably will need to try and break every tackle in crowded areas on the field. Need to stay healthy as he missed the last two game of the season with severe leg injury.
Draft Grade: 6.03
Draft Projection: 5th - 7th Round
Does He Fit?: Yes, a true playmaker with speed and the ability to make things happen. A threat on the field field from short bubble screens to taking the top off the defense vertically. A fearless and dangerous return specialist that have the capability to bust any return. Has the propensity to play inside as a slot or even outside with his size. Will fit in perfectly into the offense of Sean McVay's system.

#19 J.J. Arcega-whiteside vs. San diego st (2018)
Strengths: A physical route runner with the strength to win in the contact window. The Ability to releases against press coverage's. Has fast feet with short bust to clear defensive backs with good use of his hands. Ability to come out of his stance directly get square while managing to position his frame. He has perfect contact balance and body control in all phases as a runner, blocker and at the catch locality. Grip strength in his hands is outstanding. The ability to play the slot or outside receiving positions. Has the known technique as a route runner, and while he has some physical limitations, he has polished nearly all other aspects in this area. Ability to win the 50/50 balls vertically. Excellent shielding his body against the defender on back shoulder passes or positioning for the ball.
Weaknesses: Requires a burst at the top of routes and has simple overall route separation. Needs to reduce throttle down of extra steps on horizontal breaking routes. Not explosive off the line of scrimmage and has some problems reducing covered area. Is not a burner but has ball tracking skills and ability to position his frame to enable him to win vertically. Not a threat to just run by coverage. At the next level, will needs to improve the ability to sustain his blocks by fitting his hands, and staying square by keeping his legs moving. Unpromising to be a productive deep threat in the NFL but will be a productive receiver in the short and intermediate routes.
Draft Grade: 5.78
Draft Projection: 2nd Round
Does He Fit?: Yes, he can be a productive possession receiver or red zone targeting receiver. Basketball experience shows up well while positioning for the ball in the air. Possible upside to him with Josh Reynolds, however more the physical receiver needed to get down the field.
NFL Comparison: Ashlon Jeffries

Renfro did not receive a scholarship from any Division I team as enrolled at Clemson as a walk-on his freshman year. In 2015, Renfrow earned himself a full scholarship to the Tiger team. Strengths: Catches absolutely everything, never dropped any pass during his time at Clemson. Self type glued hands, when it hits him in the hands, its there forever. Great low-ball receiver that consistently digs out low throws with his hands underneath the ball, with a defender draping over the top of him.
Excellent concentration and the ability to make adjustments at the last moment of passes outside his frame. Ability to make full extensions to passes that are highlight-reeled, pass thrown behind him in routes. Excellent eye to hand awareness with the ball with great concentration. Ability to see oncoming defenders from all angles and is polished enough to make them miss gaining extra yardage. Excellent job with crossing routes even with contact over his back to pick up necessary yardage to the sticks. A great typical possession style receiver but can make the defender look critical if they fall asleep
Weaknesses: Has very small hands and short arms and concerns can he make the challenged catches at the next level. Limitations to his catch radius and target areas are presented. Does not really explode of his breaks that will hurt his routes succession with a limited route tree. Concerns of being undersized and benefits by adding more body bulk to his frame and get more strength may struggle breaking tackles. Lacks the necessary speed that is needed to threaten the defender over the top especially in zone coverage's. Lacks explosiveness unless they come from pick routes or bunch formations.
Draft Grade: 5.50
Draft Projection: 4th Round
Does He Fit?: Yes, the perfect receiver who can come and give a starter a blow and do not lose any talent on the field. A great possession receiver who can make the catches on third down medium and short yardage. In case of any setback with the return of Cooper Kupp, nice ace to have tucked in the pocket.

Player Bio: Carl Granderson played high school football at Grant High School in Sacramento, Calif. where he excelled as a linebacker on one of the top teams in the state. As a senior, he racked up 15 sacks, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble. He chose to play college ball for the University of Wyoming, choosing the Cowboys over such programs as Boise State and Washington State. In 2017 Granderson was named to the First-Team All-Mountain West squad as a defensive end after recording 9.5 sacks. However, he had a less-than-spectacular 2018 season, logging only 3.5 sacks for the Cowboys. In February of 2019, alleged Third-Degree Sexual Assault and Sexual Battery charges filed against Granderson. According to the latest report, the legal ramification of those charges remains unknown at this point.

#91 carl granderson vs. New Mexico St (2017)
Strengths: Granderson at 6'4 and 254 pounds, is blessed with long arms and a build that would allow him to either play outside linebacker in the Rams 3-4 defensive scheme or perhaps play defensive end in a traditional 4-3 scheme. At his best, he is a relentless pass rusher with a variety of moves and great competitive fire. Granderson has played well in big games. High-motor guy who always hustles and will run down plays from a distance given a chance. Sees the whole field and processes play well. Plays extremely hard and is a good tackler. Granderson at his best is a hustling over-achiever who is more of a "football player" than a gym rat who will blow people away with his combine numbers.
Weaknesses: There are the off-field questions, but in terms of his football ability, Granderson will not blow anybody away with a 4.79 40 time, or for that matter his combine numbers in general. Many scouts consider him athletically limited and a guy who is not as fluid in his movements as we expected. Does not have a ton of "big game' experience and did not play in a power conference. Probably more of a project in the NFL than a "plug and play" guy. Not a great run defender, could end up as a pass-rush specialist in the NFL.
Draft Grade: 5.37
Draft Projection: 5th - 7th Round
Does He Fit?: As the Rams are not counting on him to start from day one, sure. Granderson is a type of player Wade Phillips could develop for the future. Because of his limitations on rush-defense, probably would project as a pass-rushing OLB if he ends up with the Rams

Game Highlight
#71 Ross Pierschbacher vs. USC (2016)
Strengths: Played in arguably the top football conference in the country, and has plenty of big-game experience, having started eight playoff games for the Crimson Tide. Versatile player who could step in at guard or center and play well. Rarely loses one-on-one battles up front. Has a "phone booth" mindset that NFL coaches like in an interior offensive lineman. Does not draw multiple flags for holding. Some scouts thought he was the Tide's best offensive lineman throughout the season, which is high praise when we consider he played on the same unit as offensive tackle Jonah Williams, considered one of the top tackles in the country. Pierschbacher is a smart, technically sound player who will not make stupid mistakes and will do his job.
Weaknesses: Probably the biggest knock on Perschbacher is that he has short arms for an offensive lineman. That probably means he will not be playing tackle in the NFL except in an emergency. Not athletic, and mainly could have problems with the smaller, quicker defensive lineman. Although he indeed is not afraid to mix it up with opposing players, some scouts think he lacks that extra mean streak, the nasty edge that top NFL offensive lineman often posses.
Draft Grade: 5.40
Draft Projection: 3rd -4th round
Does He Fit?: Yes, absolutely. While he may lack the arm length and athleticism one would ideally like in an O-lineman, Pierschbacher is a smart, versatile player who will not be intimidated nor cost any games with ridiculous penalties. Also, there is an excellent chance he will be available in the third and fourth rounds, where the Rams have a total of three picks (two third rounders and a fourth-round pick). It is not a stretch at all to think Pierschbacher might be playing for the Rams this fall

Player Bio: Mack entered the big college spotlight as a five-star recruit and a USA Today First Team All-American from east Texas. His first season with the Aggies as a true freshman, he played a vital role as a reserve, playing 13 games, good for 32 tackles (9.5 for loss) and one fumble. By year two, expectations were high but stats dropped; in 13 games, Mack racked up just 25 tackles with just 2.5 for a loss but added 1.5 sacks. Season three with Texas A&M was the first start for Mack, although he dropped even more in performance, having just 19 tackles (5 for loss), one fumble and one sack. His senior season was a make or break for Mack's future in the NFL. With new Head Coach Jimbo Fisher in line, Daylon started all 13 games where he thrived putting out his best season of his career. Saving the best season of his college career, put up 32 tackles (10 for loss), 5.5 sacks and also blocking a kick.

#34 Daylon Mack vs. Ole’ Miss (2018)
Strengths:
-Really quick and well timed first step that helps him get to the second level and disrupt offensive lines.
-Labeled as undersized but that helps lower his center of gravity that helps him anchor on to the ground.
-Can improve from his mistakes.
-Balance
-Thick and wide body, prototypical nose tackle and run stopper.
-Does well vs double teams.
-Hard to move because of anchor and weight.
-Excels in bull rush and rip moves.
Weaknesses:
-Lack of pass-rush moves and technique.
-Usually uses both hands on the blocker, which ends on not having one available to stop the runner.
-Lack of bend and lateral moves.
-Three underwhelming college seasons.
-Not lengthy enough to grab players running away from him.
-Only one year as a full time starter.
Draft Grade: 5.40
Draft Projection: 3rd - 4th Round
Does He Fit?: YES - Coming out of high school he was a highly touted talent for some reason. It might have been a bad fit in the former Aggies system, but succeeded under a new regime with HC Jimbo Fisher taking the team in a different direction. He showed he could get better with the right coach. The hole that Suh left down the middle of the D-Line can be well suited for him, and Mack could benefit from playing alongside Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers. Donald's and Daylon's fast and quick first step could have opponents defensive lines in every game, and he could learn some moves from the best defensive player in the league, given they have a similar height and first step speed.

Strengths: Has the ability to create movement in the running game with his powerful leg drives. Stay square to the defender and sustains blocks uncoiling his hips. Works blocking angles to his advantage and battles to position his frame to create lanes. Has a powerful punch and the ability to remain square. Very effective as a lead blocker and plays until the whistle is blown. Very mobile and moves wells in space and to his target. Very versatile as he can play at the guard or tackle positions. Once he locked on a defender he has the power to drive them away from the play.
Weaknesses: Tends to get unbalanced at times becoming slightly awkward. Has poor feet control where he spends entirely too much time on the ground. Need to develop more consistency with his footwork and his body control to be successful at the next level.
Draft Grade: 5.71
Draft Projection: 4th - 5th Round
Does He Fit?: Yes, ability to play at guard and tackle very powerful to assist with the Rams run game. Nice solid body that with a few tweaks here and there will be a refined starter for years to come.
NFL Comparison: Kelechi Osemele

Player Bio: Maurice Simba was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and moved to Canada in 2012. Simba grew up in Kinshasa, Congo, with the dreams of playing professional basketball. At the age of 18, those dreams became shattered when he tipped the scale at 375 pounds with his 6'8" frame. However, Simba's uncle had the right sport in mind and arranged for him to meet with a football coach at College Montmorency, a local junior college. When meeting the coach, Simba admitted that he found his calling in the game of football. Learning the game of football the first month was the worst time of his life, felt uncomfortable, however, he caught on well. Simba would go on and become a 2X Quebec's University Conference All-Star and All-Canadian at the USports level. Simba received an invite to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, and the first Canadian to receive the invite. Simba represented the North team that was coached by Mike Tice who selected him as a team captain.

#78 Maurice bibaku simba highlights
Strengths: Simba has a very massive, long, and rangy body with an 84" wing-span. Demonstrate a robust and powerful punch at the point of contact against the defender. Ability to seal gaps on the run plays with a powerful lower body. Great technique and form as a run blocker or pass protector. Great mechanics as a kick out pass blocker and wing-span that creates nightmares for speed pass rusher.
Weaknesses: Speed is his worst attribute after running a 5.99 forty. Not built for speed, however the speed of the game at the next level may impose issues. Awareness not quite there as he stumbles over own player while applying blocks. His height works against him with shorter powerful bull rushers. Extends his arm out with shorter players as his hand may engage to the face. Tends to get lost after missing
Draft Grade: 5.03
Draft Projection: 6th - 7th Round
Does He Fit?: Potentially, Simba size alone is a coaches and quarterback's dream. A project in the beginning but has great mechanics to be a starting tackle in the league. About two to three years before challenging for a starting position.

#11 Vosean joseph vs. lsu (2018)
Strengths: Plays hard but not a consistently high urgent pursuer of the football. Thrives as a cleanup tackler. Regularly used as a blitzer and attacks his gap with urgency in those situations. Plays hard but not a consistently high urgent pursuer of the football. Thrives as a cleanup tackler. Regularly used as a blitzer and attacks his gap with urgency in those situations. Not shy of contact but limited play strength and balance makes it necessary for him to work around blocks. Has some aggressive, physical finishes as a tackler on tape but snap-to-snap study reveals considerable variance. Regularly used as a blitzer and attacks his gap with urgency in those situations. Flows well laterally and showcases good straight line speed but a lack of quick processing skills and the ability to play through contact limits his range. When the path is clear and the angle is correct, he has the speed needed to cover ground. Flashes of short area burst are exciting, that has the ability to undercut or run around potentia blockers to make the tackle.
Weaknesses: Struggles with diagnosing the play concepts and reacting quickly enough get in front of blocks. Can be incredibly inconsistent with reading action and often takes the bait with fakes and gets engulfed out of position. Joseph needs to balance himself a lot better to ensure that he is under control and can cleanly challenge a ball carrier during the pursuit. Extension skills and hand utilization are sorely lacking, gives up his chest too cleanly and will get caught in the trash instead of popping off of a body and continuing in pursuit. Does not have the contact balance or hitting power to stack and shed blocks regularly. Slow reads lead him into junk.
Draft Grade: 5.71
Draft Projection: 4th - 6th Round
Does He Fit?: Possibly, but will need to clean up alot flaws in his game. A bit undersized at inside linebacker but can manage to get around blockers. A project but will be a special team ace. Passing downs is a plus as he's a great blitzer. Joseph does not like pretty on film, however he just comes up making huge plays.

#38 Johnathan Abram vs. Ole’ Miss (2018)
Strengths: An all around player that plays hard with great instincts and a very cerebral player. Has excellent speed who can cover much ground on the field. A player with versatility that can play both safety positions. Probably a better fit playing the strong safety position. Display physicality and competitive toughness of a fierce tackler with a reputation of a hard hitter. Has the ability to play both man or zone coverages. A definite playmaker on the field, with the ability to read and react quickly, and creates destruction to offenses. A good tackler who can play in the box and defend against the run. An excellent open-field tackler with the ability to attack the play from downhill. Is excellent as a blitzer, who will transition well at the next level. A two-year starter that is very experienced played well even as a first-year player who will be a year one starter.
Weaknesses: Will have early-on issues at the free safety position as he not every down free safety. Despite an aggressive and man cover safety, excellent instincts will prompt him to bite against play action passes. Despite cover skills, not fluid enough to play one-on-one on slot receivers. Does not find the ball quickly as resulting in running through receivers and receiving penalties. Tends to overcommit resulting him not able to change direction in space. Playing at top speed will tend to miss makeable tackles. Undercuts a lot despite being a big hitter, will need to learn to wrap up more often at the next level.
Draft Grade: 5.85
Draft Projection: 1st Round
Does He Fit?: Yes, the Rams have added free agent Eric Weddle at the free safety position and probably have about two good years left in his veteran body. As a safe and reliable upgrade at the position, selecting Abraham can learn to develop as a viable free safety at the next level. Abram is a special player that has the heart of a lion and the thump of a rhinoceros who impactful to a defense.

#73 Jonah Williams vs Clemson (2017)
Strengths: Williams is a very smart and athletic lineman that understands the defensive schemes wisely. Very fluid hips and excellent body control with excellent lateral quickness. Has the ability to recognize stunts and protect with backside blocks. He works well in space and the perfect run blocker with a power sled drive and the ability to set the anchor with dominant bull rushers.
Weaknesses: Tends to be overaggressive in pass protection that forces open up hips and allow pass rusher to remain square. Short arms, that results in allowing pass rusher to outreach him and work inside his frame. Does has a smaller frame at the tackle position and with versatility may shift to offensive guard. As a drive blocker may need to be able maintain his knee bend in drive blocking.
Draft Grade: 6.30
Draft Projection: 1st Round
Does He Fit?: Yes, Rams will need to rebuild their offensive line after losing Jake Sullivan and Roger Saffold. With starting left tackle Andrew Whitworth more than likely playing his final season for his career, and probably need to stockpile their youth line for years.

#99 Clelin Ferrell vs. Texas A&M (2018)
Strengths: Ability to rush the passer from an three point stance or from the stand up position. Versatile player that can fit into a 4-3 or 3-4 scheme. Very fast and fluid in movement.Very explosive off the line of scrimmage with a great first step. Has great pursuit toward the backfield creating a great deal of pressure. Preventing quarterbacks to remain on being comfortable in the pocket because of the allied pressure. Ability to stay consistent with leverage and pad level. Has an arsenal of tricks to fight off blocks. Great technique with his hands to defend off blockers. All around athlete and beast on the field. Unbelievable read and reactionary skills and ability to read RPO plays.
Weaknesses: On film, Ferrel tend to pursue upright toward the ball putting himself at an disadvantage to smaller and speedy backs, or gets picked off by pulling linemen or chipping backs. Have problems with redirecting his body in space which results in him to lose vision of his target. While shedding blocks tends to not unglue himself in a quick manner. Will need to develop a better inside rush moves at the next level. Conditioning can be of concern as he fatigues late in the game.
Draft Grade: 6.13
Draft Projection: 1st Round
Does He Fit?: Yes, Ferrell recorded over 50 tackles for losses in his three years at Clemson proving to be disruptive EDGE rusher. The Rams resigned EDGE rusher Dante Fowler to a one year deal and is optimistic Fowler can become that dominate force he once was at Florida. In all efforts, you can’t have too many disruptive players on your defense as Ferrell can fit right in as a staple piece to the Rams defense.
