Player Bio: ​Will Harris prepped at Choate Rosemary Hall, in Wallingford, CT where he would be named as the 2014 NEPSAC (New England Preparatory School Athletic Council) Class A Player of the Year his senior year. Harris was also to the First-Team All-New England and the NEPSAC Class A Division All-Star Team. Harris started both ways as a receiver where he caught ten touchdowns and over 650 yards receiving. On defense, Harris contributed 77 tackles, 20 pass breakups, and three interceptions as his team would win the 2014 NEPSAC Bowl Championship. Harris received a scholarship to Boston College as he started three games his freshman year, and started the remaining three seasons. In 2017, Harris led the nation with four forced fumbles, and harrassed receiver throughout his career on landing on the field empty handed after trying to catch passes.Harris is the son of former Buffalo Bills and Mississippi State wide-receiver Will Harris Sr. Also is the cousin of the NFL all-time leading rusher Emmitt Smith.

Strengths: A cerebral player who is very disciplined on the field and instinctive. who stays with assignments. A player who is very strong and physical that can separate ball from the receivers and running backs. Excellent range with the ability to close on receivers to bat away passes. Has perfect angles to the action that plays downhill fast. Excellent blitzer that get homes and delivers hits on the qb early and often. Has great hand strength and the ability to strip the ball.

Weaknesses: With the ability to play in man coverage, tends to strain in man coverage or when his head turned away from the ball. Does tend to lead with the head when tackling and loves to run through players halfway to the ground, that will lead in an unsportsmanlike penalty at the next level.

Does He Fit?: Yes, a versatile safety that play down in the box or up top as a deep covering safety with great speed, can blend in well in a Rams quarters, nickle, or dime coverages. Has the hitting power of linebacker can play on passing downs as a linebacker. Great speed and opportunity to be on the field with former Boston College Eagle safety and starting Rams safety John Johnson III.
