#73 jalen mayfield vs Michigan st (2020)

Strengths: He has a substantial and athletic body, and is one of his best attributes is how wells he moves on his feet. He is very mobile and can be used as a pulling blocker and can get up to the second level with productive blocks. He executes well in the run game as he clear holes for the running back. He is very fluid in how he moves that he can cut-off speedy edge rushers around their arc. His pass blocking is his second great attributes, as he can kick out and keep the rusher in check. He drops a good anchor that deflects against the power rusher. When he gets beat at the initial point-of-attack, his mobility and length allow him to recover and meet the rusher before allowing a sack.

Weaknesses: A one-year starter limited his game experience moving into the draft as a one-year starter. Initially, he opted out of the season, but he started at right tackle when the season resumed. He will need to polish up on his mechanics for the next level. He tends to get his hand placement above the pad level allowing defenders to jam him and power him back. He has a problem maintaining balance whenever he lunges out at the defender and needs to work on a better anchor. He will need to put on more strength to deal with power bull rushers at the next level.

GAME FILM
#9 T.J. VASHER VS. OKLAHOMA ST (2019)

#9 TJ VASHER CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Strengths: He has impressive great height, extended length, with tremendous leaping ability—he is a solid built overall for a big target NFL receiver with incredibly long arms and big reliable hands. His large hands help him pluck the ball out the sky with a wide-catch radius, allowing the quarterback to throw the ball anywhere as he high points the ball. He is a defensive back nightmare, with his long strides that blend with his deceptive speed and ability to outmaneuver himself for the ball. After the catch he is squirmy enough to work himself out of being tackled. He covers much ground as he explodes off the scrimmage line to set up the defensive back with dynamic routes running, selling his routes to get open. He does well with tracking the ball down the field. He is a red red-zone weapon that will come down with the majority of 50/50 balls and fade routes. He can be the MC for Ringling Brothers as he made numerous of circus catches from unbelievable angles. He is a willing participant as a blocker who will obliterate the defensive backs and hold his own against the more physical linebackers.

Weaknesses: He has off-the-field issues while at Texas Tech that will be a red flag and shy teams away because of this character. He has horrible work ethics, did not work out hard enough to brandish his frame opportunities. He does not come out of his breaks well during his routes. He will allow the passes to hit his chest instead of using his hands. His hand and eye coordination will be concerned as he dropped many passes attempting to make the big play before securing the ball. He struggled to separate with long speed but used his long arms to run away from tackles. He is coming off a season-ending knee surgery, that may lower his stock.

GAME FILM
#74 Liam Eichenberg vs florida st (2020)

Strengths: He has mammoth size and a NFL offensive tackle prototype, with a tremendous wingspan and long arms. Tremendously athletic and quick off the ball. As a run blocker, his initial point of attack displays an impactful punch. He has excellent potential as a mauler, and once his grip is applied, it is lights out for the defender—a cerebral player who has excellent recognition in the passing game with pass protection. Rarely will he be surprised with stunts and blitz from the second level. He drops an excellent anchor to protect against attempts of bull rushers. He slides well in protection to shut down the range of the speedy pass rushers.

Weaknesses: Despite his athleticism around the interior line, film study proves that he does not play well in space. He lacks the mobility to climb out to the second level and reach the linebackers and safeties. Eichenberg may benefit from better blocking in heavy zone schemes or power runs; in any other scheme, he tends to maintain proper hand placement. He tends to play above pad level by springing up at the defender, yielding leverage, and not reestablishing his power.

Ed "Pi Double I" Henderson

Picture
Player Bio: Tre Sermon attended Sprayberry High School in Marietta, GA. He rushed for 1,227 yards and 16 touchdowns on 166 carries in his senior year and averaged 7.4 yards per touch. Sermon was the number nine ranked running back by ESPN and the 158th overall player. He had offers from Alabama, Michigan, and Ohio State; however, he chose to sign with the University of Oklahoma. Sermon graduated early and enrolled early at Oklahoma to participate during spring practices. He rushed for 2,076 yards and 36 receptions for 391 touchdowns and three touchdowns during his OU career. He would break his foot in his junior year at OU and miss the season's remaining games. Tre graduated early and opted out of the NFL Draft, and transferred to Ohio St for his senior year. Sermon would choose an excellent decision, as he had a prominent senior season in a modified season due to a pandemic; he led the team in rushing in six games for 675 yards averaging eight yards per rush. In the 2020 Big Ten Championship, he would break the schools rushing record held by Eddie George of 304 yards with 331 in that game. Sermon continued his tear on the ground with 191 yards on the ground and 61 receiving yards in the BCS playoffs. He has increased his stock significantly in his last two games going into the 2021 NFL Draft.

#8 Trey Sermon vs Northwestern
(2020 Big Ten Championship)

#8 TREY SERMON 2020 HIGHLIGHTS

Strengths: A good size back who can explode through the run lanes with excellent vision. He can diagnose the run lanes and burst through to rip off big runs with patience allowing his blocks to be made. A tough and violent runner who will run well inside and uses his nice frame to welcome contact from the defender. He packs a fierce stiff-arm when fighting off the defender. A back at his size, he posses excellent cut back ability and has some shake to his frame. He will set up a potentional tackler inside his scope and can shake them. Secures the ball at all times with zero fumbles in his collegiate career.

Weaknesses: He does not possess top-end speed and generally gets caught on long runs, preventing him from going the distance.  He tends to run upright, which allows tacklers to target his body, which will prevent him from falling forward or working out of tackles. Not very comfortable as a receiver out of the backfield. We will need to work on route running at the next level. Need to emphasize on pass protection as the rusher can bull rush him into the quarterback.

#70 Rashawn Slater vs Ohio State (2019)

Strengths: Slater is a very athletic, versatile, and cerebral player in this draft. He can play all positions on the offensive line. Slater has tremendous strength that will allow him to slide right in day one as an offensive guard. He fires off the ball rapidly after the snap and can pull out in front and get up to the second level without any issues. His mobility is one of his better assets on the field, setting the edge for outside run plays. As a pass blocker, he drops an excellent anchor and slides well with the speedy edge rushers. Whenever he beat off the snap, his mobility allows him to recover with relative ease.

Weaknesses: To remain out at the tackle position, he will need to put on more mass and add more strength to his already strong frame. Despite his mobility as a blocker, he tends to get his hands above the pad level in an upright position. He will need to play with more bend to his game. He will get overpowered by the bigger and stronger defensive lineman if he moves to guard. He struggles against most bull rusher and needs to add counters to their moves.

#1 Ambry Thomas HIGHLIGHTS (2019)

Strengths: He is one of the elite, versatile press corners and returns specialist in this draft nice height and length. His versatility allows him to play in man and zone coverages, the slot corner, or outside. He is productive, and he can play any of the positions in the defensive backfield. He is a speedy and very athletic corner that can run step for step with any receiver. He is a very physical cornerback who presses the bigger receivers off the line and scrimmage and still maintains tight coverage. He also can disrupt the receivers from their initial passing routes that will offset the quarterback progressions. He is a fierce kick and punts returner who can take them the distance.

Weaknesses: His ability in the run game is sub-par, and he will need to add more strength to his frame to assist in the run game. He is an average tackler because he makes terrible angles to the ball, struggles to shed blocks, or attempts to make tackles above the pad level. He lacks the ball-hawking skills to the balls that will represent as an impact player. He will not be a solid player in the league until he adds more bulk to his frame.
