#24 Brian asamoah vs oklahoma st (2021)

#24 brian asamoah 2021 highlights

Strengths
  • He is the true epitome of a linebacker with speed, range, cerebral, and a big hitter.
  • He is legitimately a sideline-to-sideline linebacker who will navigate traffic to make tackles.
  • He has short-area quickness with explosive first steps; he will get to full speed at no time.
  • He has excellent vision of his target and speed to make plays at the line scrimmage or second level.
  • He will meet the runner in the hole to make stops behind the line of scrimmage.
  • His tackle radius is outrageous as he will get to the ball carrier and create turnovers.
  • He has genuine coverage skills and will run step for step with the running backs or tight ends.

Weaknesses
  • Despite his tangibles, he is a bit undersized for an NFL linebacker.
  • He will need to add 10 pounds of muscle mass.
  • He will be limited as a dime-linebacker or special teams.
  • He relies on his speed to rescue him on most plays
  • His speed would be used against at the next level as he will over pursue plays.

GAME FILM
#55 DAVID OJABO VS WISCONSIN (2021)

  • Strengths
  • He is cerebral with ideal size, frame, power, length, versatile, and explosively fast.
  • He plays with a high motor; he has a profound burst of speed off the EDGE as a pass rusher.
  • He will crash the inside gaps and demonstrate an excellent burst to the quarterback.
  • A combination of strength and speed allows him to have the speed-to-power rush capability.
  • He will set up the pass protector and use his speed around the arc to blow up the EDGE.
  • He uses a variety of moves, dips underneath, and flashes his hands to counter the blocker protection.
  • He has excellent instincts, always striping at the ball and causing turnovers.
  • He is agile and can go sideline-to-sideline to make plays.
  • His versatility will allow playing in 4-3 or 3-4 defenses.

Weaknesses
  • He is still raw, still capable of putting more skills together to the game he played for just a little over five years.
  • He struggles at times to disengage from blocks and will get redirected.
  • He does not navigate well through traffic and will over pursue from the backside.
  • He was a first-round grade prior to tearing his Achilles tendon at Michigan's pro-day.
  • He probably should take time to refine his hand placements and pass-rushing moves.

  • He is not a twitch route runner and will need to refine his route running.
  • He lacks a myriad releases from the line of scrimmage.
  • He does not get in and out of breaks quickly and will get upright in the route.
  • He has a limited route tree; he will round the top of his route while crossing through the zone.
  • He is touchy touch with the hands as it appears he pushes off frequently.
  • It will get in trouble at the next level; his physicality in contested situations will attract flags.

  • He can play either at the slot or as an outside cornerback.
  • He is an all-out defender who can lineup playing press coverage, off-coverage, and zone defenses.
  • He displays extremely bold skills while attacking the ball.
  • He tracks the ball exceptionally in the air to defend.
  • He has active and strong hands that will always rip at the ball in the offender's hand.

  • He is a willing participant to come up for run support and runs the player from the other side of the field.
  • He excelled very well on special teams as a punt returner and gunner on the punt team, giving him an upside over other drafted players.

Weaknesses

  • He will need to add more strength to his body to defend against bigger receivers or tight ends.
  • Veteran quarterbacks will eat him alive with aggressiveness in man coverages.
  • He is susceptible to pump fakes and double moves.
  • Not a lot of interception production in college
  • He needs to heighten his tackling methods as he usually does use perfect form tackling mechanics when wrapping up tackles.
  • He needs to protect the ball more securely after turnovers or returns.
  • His tackling skills are average, and he is inconsistent in the run support.
  • He has tight hips and heavy feet, which prevents him from turning fluid and running smooth.

#11 Jermaine Johnson II VS Notre Dame (2021)

#11 Jermaine Johnson II HIGHLIGHTS (2021)

Strengths
  • He is a very athletic player with great size, length, frame long physical arms.
  • He plays with a high motor and fierce competitor who fights for every play.
  • The tremendous upside with his skill as he plays hard pursue the ball even between the inside gaps.
  • Weighing 260, he plays like a 300-pound rusher with can fill inside gaps as he plays more prominent with killer instincts.
  • Fit for both 3-4 or 4-3 defensive schemes, but more dangerous as an EDGE rusher.
  • The EDGE rusher is Johnson's best fit for the next level, his natural position.
  • He has excellent speed off the snap and a tremendous burst of speed to get around the corner to make tackles.
  • He uses his hands well with a chop and club move and creating moves with his feet to out skill the blocker.
  • He plays well against the run and can shed a block to make the play.

Weaknesses
  • He has limited experience at the defensive end position playing on one season.
  • He will probably be a one-year development due to his lack of elite speed as an EDGE.
  • He tends to play above the pad level, which causes him to miss tackles.
  • He lacks patience as he will get sucked in on misdirection, counters, and play-action.
  • Teams will have to figure out where they will play him, limited experience at defensive end, and lack thereof the skills required to play at the EDGE.

#65 TYLER LINDERBAUM VS MICHIGAN (2021)

#65 TYLER LINDERBAUM HIGHLIGHTS

Strengths
  • In this draft, he is probably the best center, if not the most talented offensive lineman.
  • He is tremendously athletic, powerful, and versatile and can play center or guard positions.
  • He has a speedy interior lineman who has the varying speed to climb to the second level.
  • He can get out in front to lead on screens, sweeps, and tosses.
  • He uses his strong frame to control defenders with excellent strength to sustain his blocks.
  • He is magnificent on combo blocks, and as a pass protector, he secures a solid anchor to halt bull rushers.
  • He uses an excellent knee bend and the ability to recover if beat.
  • He is very cerebral and can recognize stunts, twists, and blitzes.
  • He will play until the whistle blows.

Weaknesses
  • He will need to add roughly 10-pound to his frame.
  • His arm length is relatively short for an interior offensive lineman.
  • He will struggle against big-bodied rushers at the next level because of his light size and short arm length.
  • The length of his body frame will tend to have him late on blocking scheme

GAME FILM
#8 Justyn Ross VS ALABAMA (2019)

#8 Justyn ross highlights

Strengths
  • He is a receiver who has a scarce blend of size, speed, and good length for the NFL.
  • He has a long frame to accommodate his height to offer a colossal catch radius.
  • He has exceptional leaping ability to challenge and win most 50/50 balls.
  • His height presents a nightmare and a size mismatch and offers physicality with the cornerbacks.
  • He has excellent strong hands that rips the ball out of the air.
  • He demonstrates late separation down the field and uses his body to shield the defender away from the ball.
  • He is a definite dynamic playmaker who is tremendously scary after the catch.
  • He has shown that he made the most of difficult catches and presented career acrobatic catches to his highlight reel.

Weaknesses
  • He had a major significant injury (spinal and neck) in 2018 that threatened his football career.
  • Durability will be of concern due to the injury he suffered from his neck and spinal and a stress fracture in his foot.
  • He returned playing with 75% of the skill level he had his first year.
  • His injury demonstrated that he lacked speed, explosiveness, leaping ability, and concentration.
  • He will develop better moves off the line of scrimmage from press coverages tend to use repetitive stutter steps for separation.
  • He needs to enhance his routes without rounding his cuts in the passing tree.
  • He cannot block and needs to develop blocking skills.

GAME FILM
#17 ARNOLD EBIKETIE VS AUBURN (2021)

#17 ARNOLD EBIKETIE HIGHLIGHTS

Strengths
  • He is a cerebral, athletic EDGE rusher with a massive upside to this game.
  • He is a very explosive rusher off the edge that chargers 100-miles an hour.
  • His first step is excellent, and his speed-to-power is unbelievable, including his burst off the ball.
  • He will fire hard inside to speed around the arc to get around the corner.
  • He stays low without losing any leverage getting after the quarterback.
  • He has a great bend and will dip underneath the blockers with his agile frame with loose hips.
  • He has very active hands to punch against the blocker and uses excellent rip moves.

Weaknesses
  • He has balanced issues and does not adapt well to cut blocks.
  • He is a liability against the run as a bigger, stronger lineman will wash him out of plays.
  • He does not change direction well and is undersized; he will need to add ten pounds of muscle mass to his frame.

Draft Projection: 2nd - 3rd Round

NFL Comparison: Jonathan Greenard (Houston Texans)
