#2 Dyami Brown vs virginia (2020)

#2 Dyami Brown highlights

Strengths: He is a remarkable receiver with great athleticism who is so quick that he can instantly accelerate to top speed. His quickness and speed allow him to stretch the field vertically and pressure the secondary. He has exceptional burst off the scrimmage line, very smooth, and wastes no time getting into his routes. He will set up his defenders with elusive footwork demonstrating speed for a vertical route but only be crisp with his cuts to get open and confusing the defender. He has very reliable hands to complement his speed when catching the ball. He plucks the ball out of the air and will take off immediately. He will make the tough catches in traffic. He is tough to bring down and can get slippery of the catch. Include his leaping ability; he can win the majority of his 50/50 balls thrown in his direction.

Weaknesses: He primarily will become more of a slot receiver and occasionally used for gadget plays. He cannot play on the outside consistently and beat the more enormous and physical defenders in press coverages. His size will become a concern immediately as he will need to bulk up with muscle. He definitely will need to get more vital for the next level extending his physicality.

game film

Strengths: He is a very athletic and talented cornerback that has great NFL traits.
He has impressive fluid and hips and footwork that allows him to change direction with relative ease. He is a physical and aggressive player who has no problem flying downhill for run support. When he arrives, best to believe his short-area explosiveness will display on hard he delivers the blow to the ball carrier. His solid frame allows him to match up well against any receiver down the field. He will show great anticipation and instincts in zone coverages. He can read the receiver's route progressions and can break on the ball before the receiver is impeccable. He will challenge any pass at the catch point and looks to take it for the distance. His rare hand-and-eye coordination blend gives him great vision all over the field, especially as a kick-returner.

Weaknesses: When it comes to being physical and aggressive, it leads to other flaws. Brown is overaggressive and will set himself up for failure as he will bite on fakes, play-action, and double moves. His backpedaling skill is a bit irregular, and he needs to smooth it out. Brown tends to fight to maintain a position on the field, and at the next level, crafty receivers will leave him in his dust. He has shorter than normal arms and will rely on his great leaping ability to fight off passes. He has limited punt return skills, strictly a kick-off returner. As a punt-returner looks a bit shaky, and he does not possess the best hands at the position.

GAME FILM
#5 baron browning vs Penn st (2020)

#5 Baron browning highlights

Strengths: He is extremely athletic, a beast in the middle of the field that combines with rare speed and substantial hitting power, a with great versatility. He has a great size that can play both the inside and outside linebacking positions. However, he has displayed that he can play as a monster from the EDGE. He shows his tremendous skills when he can attack the run gaps and plays downhill fast, shooting in like a missile. He is speedy, has excellent sideline to sideline speed, and can contain the outside with explosiveness to the ball.He uses great closing speed to get to the ball with active hands always trying to rip out the ball. He is a three-down linebacker that can play against the run and pass with coverage skills to play in a zone or against big tightends. He probably one of the fastest linebackers in this draft who did increased his draft stock by showing out a his pro day with a 4.51 40-yard time and a 40-inch vertical and 130-inches in the broad jump.

Weaknesses: Returning to school may have caused more damage than help, as he could not put together and year like he has his senior year. Perhaps it could have been because he had the overall number two selection of the 2020 NFL Draft Chase Young offenses spent additional time containing. At the next level, he will need to develop better counters to shed blocks. He tries to use the tremendous speed that allows him to over-pursue plays. As an inside linebacker, he lacks the ability of an effective blitzer. He seems to process all the plays well that get him home late to the play. He is not as much of a cerebral linebacker that is expected early in the draft but will get the task done.

#77 alaric jackson vs michgan st (2020)

#79 Alaric Jackson senior bowl highlights

Strengths: He is exceptionally gifted with tremendous athletic ability that displays all over the field. He has quick feet that he is light on while sliding, seeing his former soccer skills at work. He uses excellent fluid knee bend with excellent lateral movement when mirroring the pass rushers.  A four-year starter has the tools to become a blind-side blocker with his superb technique, size, and agility. He uses his quick hands actively to deliver a strong punch against the defender and plays to the whistle. He is a good position blocker; he uses his long arms after his initial punch and knows how to derail the pass rushers.

Weaknesses: Despite his great athletism, he does not have the elite explosiveness in the run game. He not very powerful and can use more bulk in his lower extremities. The power rush game that requires straight-ahead blocking is an area he needs to improve. He will struggle with redirecting the rusher and attempting cut blocks on bull rushers. He will come out of his stance too high and struggle to make combination blocks and get out to the second level. His range is, minimal and when he reaches the second level, he will devise a plan for attack. He will get unbalanced when attempting to lower a boom on the defender and fall to the ground. Will bully the smaller defenders and struggle with the bigger kids on the block. Ideally, he will be greater if he works on these issues while getting stronger and adding bulk to his frame. He needs to develop a nasty edge to his game.

#2 kary vincent jr 2019 highlights

Strengths: He is a versatile athlete who has a rare blend of speed, power, and strength. He can play in various positions on the field. He has played linebacker, safety, and cornerback for LSU. He is a cerebral player with great instincts and recognition of the offenses screen, play-action, and RPO plays. He is a physical player, can disrupt plays with his tremendous speed. He can play down in the box as safety and still cover the speedy slot receiver. He has excellent lateral speed when in press coverages. He will come downhill fast on the run and will thump the runner. He tackles well with wrapping up and driving to the player. He has excellent recovery speed to make up if beat and chase down the ball carrier. His explosive pro day may have raised his stock a couple of rounds in this draft.

Weaknesses: He can be inconsistent at times by allowing receivers with too much space and will struggle with pivot routes. Veterans quarterbacks will study this practice and eat him alive while in coverage. His overaggressiveness can play against the run missing his targets while attempting to tackle in space. He did not start many college games and will be considered a work in progress with considerable talent.

GAME FILM
#9 Warren Jackson vs boise st (2019)

#9 Warren Jackson game highlights (2019)

Strengths: He is a very tall receiver with great height and reasonable body control. His height imposes matchup problems for the smaller defensive backs. He has a big catch radius that allows the quarterback to throws the ball anywhere in his area, making the catch. He is a vertical threat down the field that can catch the deep passes. He uses his frame to snatch the 50/50 balls out of the area with his sized advantage. He can catch the over the top fade or back shoulder fade with red-zone target capabilities.
He is a willing participant as a blocker and can use his long arms to shield the defender. He can drive the defender away from the play with his length.

Weaknesses: He elected to sit out this season due to the covid pandemic virus, potentially jeopardizing his draft status. He lacks the blazing speed to run away from defenders in the open field, limiting his big-play potential after the catch. His hands are not very strong, nor are they reliable, not pulling in the difficult catches. He needs to work on his route tree as he appears to look lackadaisical and unable to accelerate in and out of his cuts. He is not very fluid and tends to show tight hips.

Surratt started at UNC as a quarterback but switched to the linebacker position, being named All-ACC team.

#21 Chazz Surratt vs miami (2020)

#21 Chazz Surratt senior highlights

Strengths: He is an athletic player that plays with a high motor and is very cerebral. He has very fluid hips, plays with a twitch, with sideline-to-sideline range. He can plug the run lanes and get out to the edge and seal. He can diagnose plays well and able to get to the ball carrier to make the tackle. He showed explosiveness when needed to make big stops. He has impressive speed as a pass rusher to disrupt the pass protection in the pocket. In coverage, he can cover the running back or tight ends. He can drop in coverage and make plays by breaking on the ball. His quarterback instincts factor in on his read of the receivers and backs.

Weaknesses: He is a linebacker who is still learning the position and development and shows some inconsistencies in his play. He can get flat-footed at times and will look lost. He needs to add more bulk to his frame to play inside at the next level. He will get caught up in the blocks and struggle to disengage from the blocker. He is limited with his leverage at the point-of-attack, another reason why he will need to get stronger.

#4 Nico Collins vs Ohio st

#4 Nico Collins career highlights

Strengths: He has excellent strength and overwhelming size and frame for an NFL wide receiver. He is versatile and a weapon who can be productive and outside or in the slot. All he does is make plays all over the field with any routes. His upper-body strength is pivotal as it can break tackles down the field or even as a blocker. He can stay glued to a defender while blocking down the field, creating lanes. His fit goes well in offenses that have vertical passing plays. He can track the ball down the field over either shoulder well and will go up and win most 50/50 balls. He has solid and reliable hands that pluck the ball out of the air. Will break tackles and make defenders miss in the open field. He works back to ball well when the quarterback is under duress.

Weaknesses: He opted out of the 2020 NCAA football season because of Covid and declared for the 2021 NFL Draft. Scouts will first see if he fixed his concentration problems after dropping passes in big games. He will need to redefine his route table and explosion of the line of scrimmage. He comes off the line in a vertical upright style, which hinders him from getting top speed suddenly. His routes are not stimulating as he will break off his routes early. He does not have that elite breakaway speed and needs to build up his speed to outrun the defender after the catch. He will need to get in better physical shape as it appears he will not give 100 percent on every play.

#2 Quincy Roche vs FLORIDA ST (2020)

#2 Quincy Roche miami highlights (2020)

Strengths: He is a talented edge rusher with an incredible initial explosion off the ball.
He sets up his leverage from his explosion off the ball to create and initiate a plan to get home to the play.  He has lightning-fast hands that he uses to counter the blocker attempts. He uses a great bend off the corner with desirable ankle flexing toward the backfield and causes disruption to the backfield. He uses an arsenal of pass rush moves, with dip, the club, and swim moves.

Weaknesses: He has a very lean frame and will benefit more by adding muscle mass to his body. With a pulling lineman, it prevents him from keeping himself clear and maintaining outside leverage. He has a shorter than average arm length at that position with stiffness. His short arms display the stiffness he cannot disengage off blocks in traffic. He does not have long speed and lacks pursuit speed that can raise red flags.

#26 Asante Samuel Jr vs Georgia Tech (2020)

game film
#26 Asante Samuel jr hightlights (2020)

Strengths: He is a smaller-sized pedigreed cornerback who played the best off-coverage defense in the nation.  It so happens that he is very versatile who can play outside or in the slot. His versatility enables him to play in man coverages against faster receivers and glue himself to them throughout his route. He has excellent quick feet; he can backpedal quick and tight, with good excellent balance and making an abrupt change of direction for routes. These skills will allow him to as a three-down defensive back at the next level. He is a cerebral play with excellent awareness and knowledge of the game; balls thrown in his direction show his impact, showing when balls are not thrown in his direction. He can beat receivers to their spots, identify the concepts in rub routes or short passing routes. He is a very physical defender, and his play strength mitigates with the size of the receiver. He also shows his physicality against the run. He will wrap up the runner and bring down most big backs.

Weaknesses: He can be an undisciplined player when his back is to the play to make his hands reach out to the receiver. His pass-interference ratio was very high in college, and he will need to improve the coverages. He will struggle to look down on the quarterback to identify route combinations. At the next level, he may struggle with the more prominent and physical receivers in the red-zone. He has hesitation in his backpedaling and struggles to open his hips up at the right juncture of the route.

#32 Chris Wilcox vs coastal carolina (2020)

Strengths: He posses elite speed, excellent height, length, versatility, and weight for an NFL cornerback. His blazing 4.31 40 times will open many defensive coaches ' eyes as that speed is rare for cornerbacks. When he is healthy and has stayed on the field, he can be a practical lockdown corner. He can match up with anyone, given the challenge to guard the best receivers on the field. He is a physical press corner who can allow defenses to play in man coverages. He has quick and large hands that challenge the ball and the catch point. A converted safety that transitioned into a cornerback allows him to play in different styles of coverages. Teams with the need for a multiple-position defensive back will be his best fit. He will make his best fit has on special teams starting his career.

Weaknesses: He will need to redefine his fundamentals as he will be very raw at the next level. His footwork is sloppy and looks uncomfortable when back-peddling down the field. He will open his hips up too soon and get turned around in coverages. Susceptible to double moves and recovery skill is limited. Injuries kept him off the field his first couple of years, and his experience and consistency will be a concern. Not a great tackler but has improved; he needs to work more on those skills. He missed many tackles by not seeing his hit target of swiping at the runner.

#84 kenny yeboah vs alabama (2020)

#84 Highlights kenny yeboah (2020)

Strengths: He is a very athletic tight end who has a perfect length and frame. He has a tremendously long arm that allows him to have a wide catch radius. He uses his frame well in washing out the defender in routes. He is able to run good routes with ability to seperate from the defender. He has good speed that can attack vertically down the seams. A former high school receiver displays his excellent ball tracking skills and able to make challenging catches. He can gain yards after the catch as he is not able to be tackled quickly. He has played in different styles of offenses with experience in pass pro sets. He is a reliable blocker from the in-line with the ability to seal the outside and help against speed pass rushers. He will fit in well with 11 and 12 personal offenses.

Weaknesses: He has tight hips and runs in an upright position who will strive to weave or shake in traffic. He lacks the upper-body strength and power that will allow him to get overpowered. His hand placement with blocks needs much work and needs to add more punch. He needs to add more strength and muscle mass to his frame. Drops were some concern in his career, and he should develop better skills.

#25 TYLER COYLE VS NEBRASKA (2020)

Strengths: He is an extraordinarily talented and versatile safety equipped with both speed and athleticism. He has lined up at both safety positions and also at linebacker. He has a long frame and posses good height with quickness and evil intentions for the ball carrier. He is very fluid with good hips and plants and redirecting himself in any direction on the field. He uses his speed well and has excellent range to get home. He hustles all over the field with good instincts with breaking on the ball. He has quick and physical hands that challenge the ball at the catch point. He has the ability to close quickly on underneath routes and the size to tackle with a thump. He can watch the quarterback's eyes and can recover from being out of position. He tested well at his pro day with a blazing 4.36 forty and a 39-inch vertical to improve his draft stock.

Weaknesses: He will allow his speed to play with overaggressive and overplay or misses tackles. He will lose leverage and hit above the waist, and allow the runner to wrestle for additional hours. He lacks the essential flexibility and explosion that will hold him up in coverage. His instincts can be suspect and undesirable with pre-snap settings. He will struggle and show some signs of confusion when plays are taking longer to develop.

#55 Derrick Barnes vs nebraska (2018)

game film
#55 Derrick Barnes career Highlights

Strengths: He is a great-sized linebacker who plays with a mean streak on the field. A very aggressive tackler who is very good against the run, filling and attack the gaps. He will knock the daylights out of the runner after quickly locating the ball, which is the end of that play. His awareness is high and keeps his eyes moving at all times. He has a constant motor at all times in which he can chase down the player from behind, a continual pursuer. In the open field, can diagnose the play and make the open field tackles.

Weaknesses: One of his worst traits found on film is that he tends to run around blocks instead of chucking and finding the ball. Misdirection runs and play-action passing will dupe him the majority of the time.  The practice of play washes him out of the play while he needs to relocate the ball. He uses an excellent extension to undertake the blocker from holding on to him. He needs to work on refining his angle pursuit and breaking it down to make tackles. He shows up to height, making tackles causing him to have to grabbing pads and lunging at the runner.

Draft Projection: 4th Round

NFL Comparison: Alexander Johnson (Denver Broncos)
