In this video, #23 Manessah Bailey from Morgan St, demonstrate his talent at the 2020 Tropical Bowl. He display his tremendous speed and acceleration to get open for the touchdown reception. He received the throw from Tom Flacco of Towson St. If the last seems familiar, yes he is the youngest brother for Former Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl winning quarterback, Joe Flacco |
Strengths: He has blazing speed and a lethal playmaker who will take the top off the defense. He is a versatile receiver that can play the slot or outside receiver position. He has tremdous speed with quickness that allows him to become even more dangerous with short and underneath routes. He is able to run all routes of the passing tree, the slant, outs, and comebacks. He has great acceleration of his stance with an unexpected change of direction at the peak of his route to get open. He can accelerate and decelerate between his routes to attack his defender to allow a catching window. It is intriguing to watch on how he uses his speed to track the ball in the air and run underneath it for the deep catch. He has strong hands where he will pluck the ball out the air and ability to seperate from the defender. He has good field awareness, can work himself free when protection has brokend down for the quarterback. Physically strong, he will run through arm tackles and break tackles adding to his yards after catch. A good leaper who will relentlessly challange most 50/50 balls in the air. A willing competitior to block downfield to create run lanes at the second level for the running back. Against bigger competition, had great productive games against FBS schools. Blocked two punts in college, and has signifcant special team experience.
Weaknesses: He can be more proactive with his hands to avoid contact from press coverage cornerbacks. Footage confirms that he has problems with the aggresive defensive backs. The defender shows that they are able to disrupt his route with physical coverage. He telegraphs differences of pass versus run by his upward sprint out his stance. It appears that he does not have immediate recognition of coverages resulting with the quarterback progessions to the next receiver.
Draft Grade: 6.00
Draft Projection: 7th round - UDFA

#2 LeVante Bellamy VS SYRACUSE (2019)
Strengths: Bellamy is a very patient but rather explosive runner with the ball. He has excellent vision and will locate cutback gaps very efficiently. Bellamy is very shifty and an elusive runner whenever running the ball. He will set up his block at the line-of-scrimmage and explode through the narrowest seam. His speed is blistering and will get to the edge in a hurry. His top-end speed will get him time on the field as a change of pace back. In the open field, he will outrun just about any defender giving chase. He is a willing participant on special-teams returning kickoffs and punts.
Weaknesses: At times he allows his bits of patience to become his worst enemy. Attempting to set up his block allows the defender to come down the line blow up the gap. He needs to blast through the hole with a great sense of urgency. Better suited if he can gain about 10-15 pounds of muscle, he can become an every-down back. Ball security was a problem in his junior year, became a better protector; however, at the next level, poised to reinvent the wheel on fumbles. Pass protecting is below-par and needs to work on that art of blocking; size may be a factor. His hands are small and have short arms, and his receiving needs work.
Draft Grade: 5.87

#79 Isaiah Wilson VS lsu (2019)
Strengths: He has the perfect size for an offensive lineman and the right length. He can control the defender with his excellent strength with his blocks. When hands placed in the correct positioning, it is is lights out. He uses his power to move the defender in whatever directions to chooses. He can get out to the second level with relative ease. He maintains a great anchor in pass-protection.
Weaknesses: Despite his talent, his youth will question his talent. Just two years removed from college, how well will he adapt to the next level? In pass protection, he rises above pad level, and his torso is an open target for the rusher. His lateral agility gets compromised by his heavy feet, which makes him susceptible to spin moves. He can get his hands out wide in run blocking, and crafty rushers will oppose problems. The defender can use his aggressiveness to make him miss his targets.
Draft Grade: 6.34
Draft Projection: 3rd round

#11 Jake Fromm vs Georgia Tech (2017)
Strengths: A high profiled quarterback while coming out of high school to the University of Georgia with a ton of upside. He had a ton of experience which transcended well to the college level. His accuracy is on another level, especially while in the pocket, with excellent protection. His precisive pinpoint accuracy demonstrated from a quick release. Throwing range is selective and can throw 50/50 ball in areas where the receiver will win the battle. He leads his receivers to area placement, with the ball allowing them the opportunity to develop yards after the catch. At the next level, he will blossom with his ability to throw an accurate back shoulder fades.
Weaknesses: He lacks a powerful arm that is just average. He does not throw with proper awareness and will struggle with windows in zone-coverages. In post-snap reads, he struggles to identify the coverages showing zone and changing to man. He will need to work on better footwork, as he is inconsistent. While under duress, his play is subpar, resulting in quicker throws, underthrows, and forced interceptions. His lack speed to run outside the pocket, but will take the risk on short-yardage runs.
Draft Grade: 6.16
Draft Projection: 2nd round
NFL Comparison: Colt McCoy

#5 Denzel Mims VS Baylor (2019)
#5 Denzel Mims 2019 highligths
Strengths: He is a tall and rangy receiver with longs arms, strong hands, and a wingspan of nearly seven feet long. He is a vertical threat who can take the top off the defense in a hurry. He has a long smooth stride and flashes good irritable short-area quickness as a route runner. He has a significant physical frame that allows him to shield the defender from the ball. He has a wide catching radius, can high-point the ball, and tracks the ball well. Will make the tough catches in traffic and focuses on the ball. He is a dangerous with double move routes. He is an aggressive runner after the catch, and so physical takes more than one defender to put him down.
Weaknesses: Despite his high speed, he is not very explosive off the break. His physiciality does not transcend well to press coverage and will need to use it to his advantage at the next level. He allows the defender to re-direct his pass routes, which is not practical. Hips are not fluid to allow him to run comeback routes but will display good movement for out routes. Relies on his creativity opposes taking advantage of his physical traits.
Draft Grade: 6.33
Draft Projection: Late first - 3rd round

#65 Matt Peart vs UCF (2019)
Strengths: An offensive lineman that is very tall and athletic and has a tremendous wingspan. At 6-foot-seven, he moves along across the field well, and display his athleticism. He has good fluid hips and can get out and seal the edge for the run game. Impressively can climb up to the second level with proper form and base and maintains balance. His arm is like tree branches of 36-inches in length that enables him to become a great pass protector. His impressive kick slide enables him to shield off the edge from the pass rusher.
Weaknesses: Concerns of his conditioning raise red flags and hinder his play. His overall strength is questionable, and his power runs blocking is subpar. He will thrust out at the rusher resulting in him dipping to the turf. His lower body needs to bulk-up to withstand the pressure from bull-rushers. He depends on his reach to help deflect pressure, but combinations counter moves from the defender will chop down his arm—Will benefit by putting more muscle weight on his upper body.
Draft Grade: 6.14

#95 Benito Jones vs arkansas (2019)
Strengths: Jones is the epitome of NFL interior defensive lineman with a big solid frame and his lower bottom. His first step is impressive that allows him to beat the blocker off the snap with penetration. He maintains excellent leverage; his upper body has excellent strength. He can maintain pressure by staying low, and infrequently is caught too-high with pressure. His pressure and power transform him into a dominant bull rusher that drives the blockers into the protection scheme. His anchor is reliable and able to absorb double team blocks.
Weaknesses: One of his major concerns is his conditioning. Far too many times, the film reveals his inconsistencies because of his fatigue factor weighs into the equation. He is not an every-down player because of his on-and-off conditioning. His powerful drives will cause him to be off-balance and end up on the ground because he loses vision of the ball at the point-of-contact. At the line of scrimmage, he shows that he can not remain square and is overwhelmed by the blocker allowing him to create cutback lanes and gaps. He is not effecting in zone schematic calls and will become a stalemate trying to make it to the ball.
Draft Grade: 6.10
Draft Projection: 5th round
NFL Comparison: D.J. Jones

#9 COLLIN JOHNSON VS USC (2018)
#9 Collin Johnson's 2019 highlights
Strengths: He has a significant height that will be loved by most quarterbacks standing at the six-foot six-inch frame. His tall frame allows him to shied himself against defensive backs. His catch radius is unbelievable and the ability majority of the 50/50 balls. He is a legitimate red-zone target with his size. Has good strong hands, and very physical to grab the ball. His route running is impressive even at 6'6" tall. He can disorientate the defender even in press coverage (See Video). His physicality is excellent as a willing participant to block downfield, or on crackbacks

|
Weaknesses: He has a great height, but he has questionary speed, will he be able to transcend his height with speed as a vertical threat. His arms and hands a rather shorter for person of his height and frame. He tends to use wasted shake moves to gain separation from the defender. He lacks the elusiveness after the catch. Relying on his effective moves takes away from his initial pass route. It will become an issue at the next level.

GAME FILM
#56 NICK HARRIS VS Auburn (2018)
Strengths: He is an athletic player with good speed, good leverage, and is mobile at 300-pounds. His mobility allows him to get out in space on stretch plays, sweeps, and screens—natural footwork and quickness for reach blocks. Execution of his time to the second level is unwaisted to the defender. A useful signal-caller can read the defensive front and recognizes stunts and twists. Maintains a good anchor or pass rush and, with over 40 career starts, has seen the best of all the bull rushers.
Weaknesses: Despite being an athletic and mobile lineman, he lacks the ideal height for an NFL offensive lineman. Along with his lack of height, his arms are unusually shorter, as commonly expected. He will need to require to get more durable with his lower body for drive blocking on inside power runs. He will need to work on his technique to preserve his inside gaps, from crafty interior defensive linemen. He has a History with false start penalties for delaying the snaps and develop more concentration. In pass protection, he will rise vertically, allowing the defender to beat his torso area for leverage.
Draft Grade: 6.12
Draft Projection: 3rd round
NFL Comparison: Joey Hunt

#56 zack baun vs illinois (2019)
Strengths: He has excellent lateral agility who can explode with many angles to the ball. Transition well with fluid hip versatility to flow side to side and with excellent toughness. He is a reliable stud on the field who will fight through anything against the run to get to the ball carrier. His execution is off the chart; he provides issues for the blocker to block. He uses his hands well as he slithers away. He is a cerebral player who executes with good extinct and rarely produces an error. As a pass rusher, he has a good arsenal of pass moves to go along with his speed off the end.
Weaknesses: Will get too over aggressive, resulting in missed tackles. He will need to develop better skills as an open-field tackler. Needs to get stronger to become a better tackler. At the next level may benefit by switching to an outside linebacker. Pass rush skills are raw, as he relies on his athleticism to beat the blocker off the edge. Will need to add muscle bulk to his
