GAME FILM
#18 JONATHON COOPER VS MICHIGAN (2018)

#0 JONATHON COOPER 2020 HIGHLIGHTS

Strengths: He has a nice bulk frame and possesses excellent strength for a 3-tech defensive end. He is a very aggressive rusher with violent hands to defeat blocks of the offensive linemen. All out hustle as he will chase plays down with excellent awareness and tracking. He will win the edge when the play is going outside as he explodes off the snap of the ball. His versatility will allow him to play at the 5-tech and 2-gap defensive fronts.

Weaknesses: He is a straight-line rusher with no pass rush skills, just elemental rush. He lacks a lower bend and flexibility. He will lose area when trying to hold the edge, getting washed out of the play. When matched with strength for strength, generally end at a stalemate. Need to add more bulk to his frame to play at the end at the next level.

Draft Projection: 5th - 7th Round

NFL Comparison: Malik Jackson (Jacksonville Jaguars)
