Player Bio: Michael Warren II prepped at Central Catholic High School in Toledo, OH. His senior year, he was named Mr. Football of Ohio after rushing for 2,740 yards and 45 touchdowns. For his career, he rushed for three consecutive 2,000 yards seasons for 7,619 total yards rushing, 105 touchdowns, and one game of 385 yards rushing in a single game. He earned honors the Parade Magazine First-Team All-America, Scout.com Second-Team Senior All-America, Ohio Associated Press Mr. Football, Associated Press Division III First-Team All-Ohio, AP’s Division III Offensive Player of the Year, Toledo Blade Player of the Year, Three Rivers Athletic Conference Player of the Year, Division III District Player of the Year, MVP of the Offense-Defense Bowl, 2015 All-Ohio First-Team, TRAC Offensive Player of the Year and Division III District Offensive Player of the Year. ​

​#3 MIKE WARREN VS UCLA (2018)

Strengths: He is a potent North to South style runner who sufficiently runs wells in between the tackles. He is a reliable workhorse back that can take a heavy workload, had over 500 carries his last two seasons. He runs like a bowling ball bouncing off defenders and keeping the right contact balance. He does has a little shiftiness to his game as he wiggle his hips through on the field. He creates lower center gravity by lowering his shoulders and will walk straight through arm tackles. Rarely is brought down by a single tackler and has elite ability to gain extra yards after the initial point of contact. He is a decent receiver out of the backfield who can run a variety of routes and uses his hands to catch passes away from his body. He is an averaged pass protector who will protect the quarterback.​

Weaknesses: He is not a blazer to be able to hit the edge to gain yardage down the sideline consistently. When he does find a crease, he does not have the breakaway speed to go the distance. As a pass protector, we will like to see him chip the defender sometimes and get open for the safety valve. He needs to have more patience behind the line of scrimmage to prevent from up the backs of his offensive line.
