Player Bio: Lawrence attended Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana. Regarded as one of the state's most ferocious defensive tackle that helped lead his team to two consecutive 4A Louisiana State Championships. His senior year, he managed to record 91 tackles (15 for loss) and eight sacks. Lawrence selected as the 2015 MaxPreps First-Team, selected as the All-USA Louisiana First Team Defense, 2016 Under Armour Game invites, Advocate Super Dozen, and ESPN #1 ranked player in Louisiana. Lawrence received a scholarship to attend LSU and named team captain three years, started 34 games, and finished his career with 120 tackles (47 solos), 20.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks, seven pass deflections, one forced fumble, and on one fumble career.

Strengths: He has a tremendous burst of speed off the snap of the ball. An intense competitor who fights vigorously through blocks to make tackles. Uses good hands positioning to use leverage against the run. A versatile player who can be an impact player at the defensive tackle or defensive end positions. Very physical who can shed blocks with spin moves and robust tackler. Good quickness with the ability to pursue the runner down on the other side of the field. He has rather large hands (11-inch), will provide a strong grip strength.

Weaknesses: He can be reckless flying all over the field, not able to contain balanced. His lateral quickness changing direction is limited. Uses hand too much to try and disengage from the blocks. Needs to develop better pass-rushing skills. Wastes too much time attempting to get around pass-blockers.
