#24 Chritian uphoff career highlights

Strengths: He is a challenging and fierce competitor built with a nice solid frame and lower body. He is a safety that plays very aggressively who will come downhill fast and defend against the run. He has good range and has fluid hips that allow him to flip open smoothly. He plays under good poise and balance to stay patient in the open field. He will read the quarterback's eyes while using his cerebral thinking process and is well aware of the quarterback's read and throws. He uses his quickness to break on the ball aggressively to create turnovers or deflections. He returned kicks and punts; he very aware of what to do with the ball once he collects a turnover.

​Weaknesses: His frame can use more bulk and increase his size as a tackler. He will come and wrap up the tackle but should be laying hammering hits on the runner. His angle to the ball can use some refining while he is in pursuit. Need to improve on disengaging off blocks as he spends too much time to release away. He plays tremendously too fast on every play; at the next level, quarterbacks will pick up on this, and later progressing plays will go after him out of position. There will be deep concern on if he can cover the speedy receivers in the slot. He opted out the 2020 season due to the pandemic virus.
