Player Bio: Richie Grant played at Choctawhatchee High School located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. During his senior year at Choctawhatchee High, he tallied 37 solo tackles, four interceptions and recorded over 1,000 receiving yards on offense,  returned three punts for touchdowns and one kickoff return touchdown. He garnered Choctawhatchee High Team MVP, 2015 Associated Press Florida Class 6A All-State Second Team, and 2014 Associated Press Florida Class 6A All-State Third Team. He also excelled on the track team, running both the 100 and 400-meters race.

Strengths: He is another one of those versatile defensive backs in this draft who has excellent athletic ability. When viewing his film, it unique how he plays the game with elevated skill. He recognizes offensive sets and able to play quarterback by setting up the defenses. He is a consistent tackler who makes plays. He will come downhill fast, sometimes too fast, and run into blocks get knocked off the play. He is very aggressive and sometimes will hurt himself in coverage, especially in the red zone.

Weaknesses: He has average speed and can be used and abused by speedy receivers. He has short arms, and his size is not ideal. He lacks the sideline-to-sideline speed to run with receivers.
