Player Bio: Daniel Bellinger attended Palo Verde High School, located in Las Vegas, NV. Bellinger played both tight end and linebacker at Palo Verde High.
He caught 21 passes for 371 yards and three touchdowns during his senior year. He finished with 131 tackles (10 tackles for loss), three sacks, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery at linebacker. He garnered all-state first-team accolades at linebacker, a first-team all-league selection on both offense and defense, an all-city honoree, and high school athlete of the year. Off the field, he doubled down in basketball and track for Palo Verde, earning second-team all-league honors in basketball and making the regional finals in track and field in the 400 meters and 4x400-meter relay. His 4x100 team placed third at the Nevada state championships.

Strengths

• He has the receiving baseline as a depth piece in a tight end room. He has excellent size, a bulky frame, and is very strong, contributing to his blocking.
• He is a pure blocking tight end that will help neutralize the edge for the run game.
• He fires off the ball with a low trajectory and excellent pad level and maintains a fair balance.
• He will square up to the defender, fire out with a power center mast, and plow them to the ground aggressively.
• He can smoothly climb up to the second level in transition with effective blocks.
• He is a sneaky route runner that slips out from his action as a blocker.
• He has excellent soft hands and usually catches everything thrown in his direction.
• He can break tackles for extra yards after the catch and use his length to stretch out for extra gain.

Weaknesses
