​Player Bio: Julius "Junior" Faulk prepped at Salem High School, located in Tylertown, MS. Faulk played wide receiver on offense and safety on the defensive side of the ball. He was named the District Most Valuable Player for offense and defense in his junior and senior years. Faulk also lettered on the Salem's High basketball team.

Strengths 

• He has excellent instincts, size, skillset, and versatility to play at all positions at the next level.
• He has an excellent frame that transitions to the NFL for press coverages with bigger receivers and plays in zone coverages.
• He has adequate speed and physicality to jam receivers, play in coverage and display his ball-hawking abilities, intercepting nine passes his first season at Delta St.
• He uses his height and long arms to his advantage along with his active hands to deflect targeted passes.
• He has man-to-man coverage skills as he can obliterate one side of the field and allow defenses to design sophisticated coverages. 
• He does not shy away from tackling; he takes excellent angles while flying downhill to defend against the run and wraps up.
• He is a big hitter, hits like a safety, and looks to dislodge the ball from the receiver.​

Weaknesses

• He will become susceptible to speedy receivers at the next level that will fly right by him as he gets flat-footed in press coverage.
• He needs to use physicality to hold up receivers while jamming and redirecting the path or receiving routes.
• As a big hitter, he needs to improve on not lowering his head and viewing his target through the tackle.
• His 40-speed and broad jump was not impressive, 40-time did not display elite speed, as he may become a better fit as a strong safety or linebacker with aggressive play around the ball and instincts.
