​Greg Zuerline, the kicker of the Los Angeles Rams, was named the NFC special teams player of the week. Zuerline has won this award for the third time in his career that he's won the award back in 2012 and 2017.

Zuerline connected on four of his five attempted field goals, of 20 (2), 28, and 55-yards in the distance. He missed his first attempt of 46 yards as he kicked it from the infield dirt of the Oakland A's, that sliced right. His field goals helped the Rams to continue to lead to over the Oakland Raiders in the Monday Night Football opener.

Zuerline's 2018 award will add to his previous won awards including him as the recipient of the NFC Special Teams Player of the Month twice last season.
