For the second consecutive week, the Los Angeles Rams lost starting receiver Cooper Kupp to an injury. Kupp on a second down and 13, received the jet sweep from Jared Goff and ran the ball up the sideline for a first down. However, on the play, former Ram and current Denver Broncos safety Darian safety, not only face masked Kupp but also tackled him with a horse collar type tackle. A penalty was enforced on the play as Kupp remained down appearing to clutch his left knee. Kupp needed to have assistance and carried off the field on the cart to get further testing on his injury. Rams remain optimistic that there is no structural damage to any ligaments. Kupp's status to return is questionable, as second-year receiver Josh Reynolds steps in to replace him at the slot. Rams linebacker Matt Longacre is questionable to return as well with an apparent back injury. Kupp has returned to the lineup in the second half.
